  • is it jus tme or do all mma/jiu jitsu coachs have serrious charisma !

  • @jamiegee123 well no offense to my boxing coaches but i think it comes from not being repeatedly knocked down and stood back up again.

  • @thegreenbastard42011 yeah i think mma/bjj coaches have serious egos, charisma and can tell a great story lol well my mma bjj coach does haha ! and a few other gyms i know of do also !

  • @jamiegee123 lol oh dont get me wrong my one coach is funny as hell and can tell a story, but unlike your coach and eddie b the twister, lol they get the emotionless eyes and stuff from being punched for so long lol. but they are good dudes haha.

  • @techniqueisborn wrong

  • I want to train at 10th planet. It seems like an open minded environment.

  • You can win that way unless your name is werdum and your fighting a manbeast named overeem

  • i have a great full, half, and a decent rubber guard, but my whatever-fucking guard is terrible :(

  • What the hell does Bravo know about pulling guard in MMA? How about learn some good takedowns and not resort to butt-scoot Jiu Jitsu.

  • @lsloewen2 Did you not just listen to what he has been saying for the past 10 minutes....lol This is the 3rd option. When everything else fails.. you have to engage somehow... so pull guard. Very simple concept. Butt-scooters simply didn't even try... they just go straight to pulling guard. Butt-scooting is not what he suggest; he explicitly says to stand, try some take downs first etc... hence this being the 3rd (aka last) option.

  • @lsloewen2 Did you even watch the video?

  • Well you can still use your wrestling even though someone pulls guard. That's pretty much what it's used for.

  • I plan on taking BJJ, but I am in Grad school. I don't really have time to commit. I will take it in a few years though. Youtube is great. I have learned a lot from it. Actually called out the darce and gator roll at the bar last night.

  • Bravo's first Twister was on Royce Gracie... No joke.

  • The guys who disliked this vid got subbed by some one who pulls guard :D

  • GREAT FUCKING VIDEO BRAVOOOOO IS THE MAN, VERY INTELIGENT

  • Paul Sass = Don't not fuck with his guard EVER!!

  • uk fighters are usualy more comfortable on the feet,, its nice to finaly have some1 with a sick sick ground game competing at the highest level, paul sass is wicked off his back

  • eddie brother..don't tell these folks to go ahead and stand for a while at the beginning of an MMA fight...that is when the knockouts happen!..A great guard player should avoid such danger and go straight to clinch then the ground...striking is silly most of the time!

  • pull fucking guard lmao

  • i looked up paul sass and he is 12 and 0

  • That's a nasty ear! get that thing drained!

  • "the whatever fucking guard" i think i need to work on that

  • I could listen to him talk about the Guard all day!

  • matt horwich is so retarded lol

  • I'm having difficulty with the rubber guard. I can bring it up to the shoulders no problem but I'm finding it wreaks havoc on my knees for about a week after (as in it hurts to get up if I've been sitting for too long). I think I've got the flexibility to do it and stretch on a regular basis, but the joint pain is still there. Is this a common thing? Do you think it's a flexibility issue?

  • @berner You do not have the required flexibility. Attempting to use rubber guard before you develop can result in serious injury that will takes months to recover. You should be able to put your feet behind your head with very little to no assistance from your hands, be able butterfly stretch with heels to your groin and knees pressed to the floor simultaneously, and get into the lotus position with no assistance from your hands. Search "stretching for rubber guard".

  • Please Roger, pull guard next time.

  • sass did it again!

  • My clown guard is out of this world. The big red shoes give people all sorts of trouble.

  • The guy he's talking about is Paul Sass. 11-0 with 8 triangle chokes. The fight he's talking about is UFC 120 in England, Paul Sass vs Mark Holst.

  • ... Your whatever-fucking-guard... lol

  • "When Shinya Aoki pulls guard no one says, {aww fuck that imma go take a piss} their like {Oh shit somethins gonna happen}" lol

  • I think their are 2 different kinds of rollers Snakes & Tarantulas holla at me if you see what i see to....

  • I AGREE WITH BRAVO ABOUT SILVA SONNEN BEING ONE OF THE BEST MMA FIGHTS OF A LL TIME .

  • Its so cool how eddie bravo teaches jiujitsu and does stand up comedy at the same time

  • Pre-Title-Shot Demian Maia was pulling guard.

Now he tries to knock people out and loses the decision...

  • @MrBladeCrash Werdum gets striking in hs game he won't win in the UFC or SF. The days of fighters going in to peoples' guard r over.

  • Just heard about Eddie, and looked him and 10th Planet up, and I have to say, that everything he says makes sense. I think he is kind of like an evil genius. He is CLEARLY a brilliant trainer....I just found a 10th Planet School in my area, and am planning to start in a few weeks

  • I'm in good shape and i'm young but i have man boobs so i can't do anything athletic because it's too embarrassing. Be glad you are not me everyone.

  • @jabber22

LOL There are PLENTY of fat guys who do Jiu Jitsu. The beauty of Jiu Jitsu is that it doesnt rely on athletism, strength, speed, power etc etc.

You should see the guy who trains with Eddie....I think his name is Joey. He has man boobs. But so what?

    You should try it bro.

  • @SkemeKOS

I actually had a breast reduction done last week (finally) and am glad to say i finally have a normal looking chest!

  • @SkemeKOS

aside from my nipples which look dead now but it's better than having boobs

  • Where is eddie main school at...

  • @316RawDogg erm hollywood

  • Is there any 10th planet gyms in England? at the moment i'm just taking eddies books to my current gym, which is amazing but not as good as having an actual 10th planet teacher.

  • @TheParadoxEvent dude if your in england train at estima or rogers school lol their the best in the world

  • i fuckin love how eddie teaches ''it all about controling the guy on top wizard'' so much expression

  • i don't care, more renato please

  • THANK YOU FOR THE GUARD ADVICE EDDIE.

THE SEMINAR IN YUMA WAS GREAT

  • This man's the truth

  • one day im going to train with you eddie. then we are going to smoke some bud and listen to some metal. sound good?

  • That is why Jake Shields lost to GSP. He couldn't take him down for 4 straight rounds, but yet he kept shooting in from a mile away and then decided he should just stand and trade with GSP. Shields striking is terrible at best, but he also didn't get embarrassed in the standing because GSP's striking is not as good as people make it out to be. What killed me is that Shields kept asking his corner, "Should i pulled guard now"? and incredibly, they kept saying no. Shields should fire them.

  • @kanguesso

He fucking should. GSP's jab and standup was too much for Jake, but it seemed like Jake stopped shooting after a few stuffed takedowns. He even admitted that he doesn't know why he stopped shooting.

I guess that was the question from the beginning; could Jake Shields take down GSP? Nah. He should have just pulled guard.

  • @RebarVictimo I don't really get that. He didn't shoot or gave up with the whole take down defense after about a round or two. GSP isn't a god andhis stand isn't the best.

  • eddie u r definately one of my heros, go and whoop that royler gracie's ass, its funny i train under roger gracie in the uk but i use ur system there all the time and roger and lagato loves it to death

  • Hey Eddie, Nor Cal needs some good facilities and a real seminar.. this koshcheck and Faber bullshit up here is a joke.. When you gonna throw something up here in north of Sacramento or maybe Sac itself?

Oh yeah... "I like to be on my back" =p

  • Comment removed

  • wouldnt cage tactics be a 4th option like mauling against the fence and shit like that

  • Hey Eddie, you got a onsight training facility that is open to public?

  • @WaitingTurtle

There are many 10th planets... Its the seminars you really want to get in on..

  • George is fighting in UFC 132 =) Gonna take Dos Anjos apart.

Eddie, what is going on with the 10th Planet in St. Louis? Still no word on that and I would REALLY like the opportunity to roll with 10th Planet.

  • Nevermind, just looked it up and found one in San Fransisco. Are you planning any trips to that school this summer?

  • Hey Eddie, are there any 10th planets in the bay area, ca???

  • Why is it that every time the camera points onto someone listening to him talk they look completely lost, its not that hard to understand :)

  • Thanks for the vids Eddie, as a stand up guy with some subs your making me fall inlove with the entire Art of Nogi Bjj, Keep on Rockin

  • Eddie... I want to learn but everything is sold out... stop making such good DVD's and stuff you dick so I can get one haha.

  • 'You can't jump out of the fence, you can't turn around and run'

Put me in a cage with some some of those UFC welterweights, and I will show you that i can jump out of the fence and run VERY well.

  • George Sotiropoulos did not attend this session

  • Guess George Sotiropoulos missed this class

  • I love being on my back in MMA, so easy for me to traingle choke people, cause they're to busy trying to pound my ribs in that they forget about submissions.

  • @blublebluble You compete? How many triangle subs do you have? Ever worry about getting Rampage slammed?

  • @JBMontgomery87 I actually have none, but in my last fight, I locked on a triangle at the end of the round, the guy left his neck open big time cause he was too busy punching, lol. Only smart wrestlers are able to properly defend it.

  • george sotoroplis obivolistly missed this class

  • @MrKerrTV Typical problem for every BJJ guy..takedowns. Most if not all BJJ guys pull guard (due to the rules of the sport) and pulling guard does not work in MMA all the time. Joe Rogan & Frank Mir said it best, problem with BJJ guys is the ability to take the opponent down. I was told that lately more and more BJJ guys cross train in Judo, Sambo or Wrestling (to improve their stand up) but how can you improve your standup with a pull guard rule in BJJ competitions??? You can't.

  • @MrKerrTV dude i know! the WHOLE siver fight i was just yelling "pull guard!" G-SOT could've totally swept siver or even tapped him out off his back.

  • @MrKerrTV lool i was suprise eddie dint tell him to pull guard and joe dint say it in commentary, its like it skiped their mind completely, i was screaming at george from my house pull fucking guard

  • @MrKerrTV haha

  • @MrKerrTV George is good at 10th planet stuff

  • @MrKerrTV Stropolopolis*

  • @OriginalKubeska It's george sotiropoulos.....

  • @rangedat we're thinking of different people. I'm thinking of George Stroumboulopoulos. The talk show host lol

  • @MrKerrTV hahahhahahahhahahahahaha he will get cut soon

  • i would like to hear eddies opinion on the Mia/Silva fight.

  • I think Eddie's completely right about pulling guard. Now in mma it looks like a lot of wrestlers aren't even fully looking for takedowns. They just want to avoid striking by holding the guy against the cage until they decide to take you down. And if you manage to get back up? They'll repeat the process until the round is over. I think pulling guard on your terms when you know you're going down anyway is what a lot guys could do against Fitch, Sonnen, etc.

  • He shoulda given out his own advice to Sotiropoulos last night.

  • @Forkfoot yeah and he was his corner man too

  • I work the guard constantly...By far my most important position....btw I would love to train with Eddie one day...Only I'm in Northern CA...I still have all his books and dvd's...Bout to buy Advanced rubber guard...can't wait....10th planet is da shit!!!!

  • Is Horwich special?

  • I hate it when a guy pulls his wizzer out...

  • BIG PROPS TO DEMIAN MAIA SHOUT OUT <33333333333 MAIA I LOVE MAIA<333

  • charles olivera loves being on his back, one of the best offensive guards ive seen, i'm sure eddie likes that in a guy, " sure take me down but i'm tapping you out when you get there " haha

  • hahahaha pharmaceutical grade super hero

  • eddie bravo the ledgent

  • @markburke69 lol the ledgent

  • lol findley u dumb fuck its the world everybody needs to make a dollar

  • ... why does this guy remind me of a short ass mexican vince vaughn?

  • Very interesting thinking. Those kind of things should be implemented by the UFC/MMA fighters in a much bigger angle.

  • wow Eddie i didn't think you'd actually reply to anyone, its good to know that your not like most other people who get even a little bit of fame and become stuck up jerks. keep up the good work mate btw i love the 10th planet, your system of nogi jiu jitsu is truly second to none and you are a true master

  • Nothing I hate more than watching an MMA fighter on his back just lay there with his legs wrapped around the guy on top and doing nothing. These guys are learning BJJ, and there's so many things they can do from the bottom, but they're doing nothing.

  • 3 people do not know jack about MMA.

    Great vid....bravo.

  • I can't use Paypal. So i can't subscribe to Eddie's site. He could use Clickbank and over 60 other payments processor but no :(

  • im moving to LA after thailand. see you in a few years.

  • Ayahusca production! DMT + JUI JITSU ! WHOO NICE

  • Cant wait for my seminar december 11th i wouldnt mind paying 100$ just to hear him speak not even do ju jitsu

  • 3rd

  • sorry but the begining of this video is sooo gay lol

  • @jchavista89 thas the point lol

  • @LazaaMMA

you said it, finishing people from your back hehe..that is so gay

i am no mma wannabe gay, i am gay

  • @bergslag Yes breaking arms/legs is verrry gay

  • @35503550

i never saw them on the video breaking legs or arms...where do you see that ?

so i think eddie is kind of gay, long hair and so...likes to go down with men

  • @LazaaMMA

I live in sweden, it is not my first language...so..

  • @LazaaMMA

    you mean "classic"

  • eddie how much does it cost to train at ur gym?

  • Eddie was my last hope for pretty ears. Now I'm worried there's no counter to cauliflower

  • @redblue18700

    where head gear

  • GO FUCK YOURSELF BRAVO...YOUR STYLE IS BORING TO MMA...you will never be a mmafighter cause you can not fight /martin in sweden

  • @bergslag HOW ABOUT YOU GO FUCK YOURSELF PIN DICK? who the fuck are you? a nobody! 10th planet is the most exciting form of jiu- jitsu period. Why don't you go suck your dads dick homo

  • @marcmarcmarc1000

Perhaps exciting if you are gay, but i am not, sorry...continue playing with your "on the ground games" with other gays at 10th homoplanet

  • I think my "whatever fuckin guard" is pritty good.

  • is matt horwich got sumtin wrong wit him :P ?

  • i like how master eddie just breaks it down to the BAREST points and it makes sense, was always there.

    Thanks M. Eddie!

  • wish more fighters were good off their back, could name so many off the top of my head that need your teachings eddie

  • The haircut looks great. (no homo)

  • its only $5 bucks man! We all work for a living....I sure would not walk into work and do my thing for free...im pretty sure you would not do so either findley....This is Eddies bread and butter....he needs to eat like all of us.

  • his website is the next best option for people who cant train with him

  • Eddie is a badass, seems to be an awesome teacher

  • LOVE Eddies Videos! Wish I Could Take His Classes But Im Broke As FUCK!

Oh And Him Getting Choked Out On The Last Vid Was A Joke And A Half, Any1 That Knows ANY JJ Would See He (Or Any1 Really) Couldnt Get Choked Like That (Not Using Two Arms Or Arm In)

    Thanx For The Videos Bravo!

  • @findley90 gotta support his habits SON :)

  • @IH8WRONGPPL yea i know but he could give some free every now and then instead of cutting it off and saying go to my website :) still love eddie bravo haha

  • @findley90 he did give them away for free not long ago, they were all free for about a month. and again $5 is bugger all. it's a great price compared to alot of other sites

  • @findley90

eh 5 bucks. I'm good with that. Free would be better but 10 or 30 would be worst.

  • @findley90 ur kidding right? Marcelo charges $30, Jean Jacques charges $25, and I'm charging $5. Are we supposed to give away our techniques for free? :)

  • @twistereddie ,some people arent around great instructors and schools distance learning is the next option, i feel disrespected by a comment like that im in the army ive been away from las vegas for 4 years and missed out on good teachers and training. you people need to get your mind right, you got the only american to tap a gracie charging 5 bucks for online training and you can be ranked under him in the nogi yall are fucking crazy!

  • @twistereddie Hey Eddie. Try charging 20$. The mental barrier is from "free" to "pay". Once you are paying, the actual price is less important (less of a deterrent). To avoid people leaving from a price increase, make everything free for a while, and then come back with a new (looking) product for 20$.

Awesome vid about "the third option". thanks!

  • @twistereddie EXACTLY! Your vids are amazing Eddie, love them

  • @twistereddie yeh but to be fair marcelo is the best in the world. but $5 is very good and unheard of

  • @twistereddie

It's 10th Planet Jujutsu not UNICEF.

  • @twistereddie

well i bought your book and dvd so yes :P

  • @twistereddie You're like the walmart of jiu jitsu O.O. If I have to move back from college and can't take jiu jitsu any more I'll be subscribing to your techniques and practicing at a local gym I think

  • @twistereddie

After watching this video, I was hoping that George Soteropolis would pull guard on Dennis Siver after getting no takedowns. Yikes it didn't happen. Eddie get Soteropolis to pull that guard!

To be sure, Soteropolis is the only good guard in the UFC :)

  • @amabo187 Cerrone's also got a nasty guard

  • @twistereddie you hired renato right? i heard he was an actor otherwise he is the most loopiest black belt i have ever seen

  • @twistereddie $5 to learn from Eddie Bravo, seems well worth it to me! lol

  • @twistereddie haha fuck the haters Eddie, hell i can't wait till I get the chance to train at 10th planet, hopefully that will be soon. You are amazing man and trust, i'll be fighting under the Dethrone logo soon ahaha

  • @findley90 It takes balls to ask someone to come up with an idea, make a video of it, host it on a website which they pay for, and then after all that give it to you for free.

Just pay the mother fucker if you're interested so he can go buy himself a sandwich or something.

  • also it makes wrestler hesitant to shoot because they're afraid of getting caught in your guard. but there are options like clinching in the standup or up against the cage also, but i guess strong wrestlers, especially greco roman guys could control you from there also. if you have any doubt in the guard, just look at fedor werdum. fedor was a better striker and has much better takedowns and takedown defense, but as soon as he fell into werdums guard...

  • sooo boring watching two guys hug each other on the mat...

  • @bergslag Then why are you watching Jiu Jitsu videos? Fool.

  • @joekelly101

no i did not, just the first 2 sec....i like MMA with small gloves, people that is just laying on each other is not good MMA. I want to see people got hurt, blood...not given each other hugs..and making out

  • 10:42 clay guida lol

  • I fight off my back in MMA..like 90% of my wins in Jiu Jitsu came off my back too.

  • @AudienceKiller66 yeah but sport jiujitsu is different from self defense/MMA jiujitsu, once u get punched in ur face u'll change ur mind.

  • @GHRepresent ...I get punched in the face every day. I fight MMA, man. When you pull rubber guard it makes it very difficult for your opponent to hit you in the face. Even if he does his a making a mistake. Cause the one arm you don't have trapped you can catch and then bring in your other knee and set up a triangle.

  • paul sass does not have only triangle victories...

  • @jappanese pretty much, bro. i mean barring the two heel hooks and that decision, it's all triangle chokes.

  • @trickster0zero Most of his victories indeed , but not ONLY triangle :)

  • paul sass ground game is amazing hes 11-O all wins by triangle the only man to do it in mma i think

  • whatever mother fucken guard xD good one man

  • I dont even do jujitsu and i still enjoy these :) Considering finding a class in my town

  • @DooMZie08 I suggest it bro, jiu jitsu is great.

  • @DooMZie08 just smoke some weed

  • Matt Horwich looks like Brock Lesnar...

  • @darkrov thats a diss to brock lesnar lol

  • Thanks. Bravooooooo!

  • very nice

  • Yo Eddie what happened to 10th Planet Kush? :(

  • @iRandyyyyy Idk dawg. Only thing I know is that Silva has that third option haha.
