hey i just got this phone and i cant connect to network. i can use wifi but i cant use the mobile network. under mobile network settings my "use packet data" is checked and its still not working. i reset using factory defaults and its still not working. any help please? :(

My friend had a simialer problem when she switched from her HTC Aria (a 3G phone) to the LG Thrill 4G a while back. She had to go to ATT and adjust her line to a 4G plan since her previous phone was just a 3G phone. Something like that. You may need to do the same if you haven't already. Hopefully you got it worked out by now.

Ive had this phone for a little over a month now... I still LOVE it.. but it has crashed (reset) on me several times for apparently no reason.. some apps also crash pretty frequently.. It gets quite annoying. Also the GPS takes a while to lock on to satellites sometimes but I think that varies by which GPS app you use. Other than that its a really great phone.

What the point of 4G when almost no one in the country can actually use it yet?

I believe when they say "4G" theyre referring to the HSDPA and HSPA+ wireless standard (I could be wrong).. 4G LTE may be what youre referring to, which is what hardly anyone can use (except on Verizon, where their 4G LTE coverage absolutely craps on AT&T's)

@FranticWon1 I have the inspire. and i absolutely love it. its really fast and zippy and reliable. The battery is a bit small but you can by an extend one. I highly recommend the inspire. aside from the front facing. Id say Inspire is the best phone on ATT.

@jean6826 GO for INSPIRE you can never go wrong with it. HTC Sense 2.1 is pretty amazing. The phone never laggs. and has a zippy processor. Its perfect for everyday use. just need an extended battery and your set for life!

@123585 If you can get it unlocked from AT&T, the phone can work on any GSM network in the world. As for 3G data, the phone has AT&T's 850/1900/2100MHz bands. If your carrier has one of these bands, most likely the 2100MHz, then it will even have 3G data.

Ive had this phone for a couple months now. It takes amazing pictures, has an amazing display and touch runs smoothly. ive rarely had any problems with lag. Internet is very fast. im not a big fan of touch screens but i love this phone, only problems ive had is a couple force close issues and the battery dies pretty fast, probably goes down 1% every 17 to 19 mins. i suggest using android assistant to close out of battery draining apps. the stock task manager doesn't really show all runing apps
