My oppoinion on having to link Youtube to Google account

@MrRedFredSaid Yes you need to have a mobile phone number or a phone number of about 7 digits so they can send you a verification code in order to complete the creation of a Google account for use with Youtube.

I completely agree. It would help you if you typed up a Word document or something and read from that so you don't have as many awkward pauses.

The only part of this I take issue with is the part where you discuss how popular the decision is. It doesn't matter whether they know it's unpopular because that's the only reason it's mandatory! If anyone needs any reasons not to trust Google with your info, look at their record in China! I made a video on this that discusses it from other angles.

I am outraged! They are so greedy! I created my account on 2007 and I have to link this stupid thing just because they want money.

I totally agree with you. Its seems very dictatorial that Youtube are demanding that you link your Youtube account to a Google account. In fact I have never come across anything like this before. They also messed up the Homepage recently as well. They seem to be really pissing off a lot of their userbase.

They seem to be really arrogant recently. I am looking for an alternative to Youtube and there definitely is a gap in the market for a new website to emerge.
