  • When my aunt had her tv done the guy had to cut out the wall and put in wood blocks. This doesn't seem safe.

  • He is such a dreamboat

  • at least he's pretty ;)

  • Loving the "Hey,ladies... check out my wire blocking pose" Oh and for this installation you will need a stud finder... a pencil...a level..... and a neck brace to correct the spinal damage caused by how high i've mounted your tv......

  • The TV Miracle Mount makes it so easy...

  • you are handsome : )

  • Lol y you sitting so ur body blocks the ugly wires coming down the wall lol. Next time show us how to cut yhe drywall and tunnelthe wires!

  • he is cute.

  • WOW I LOVE YOUR POCKET LEVEL!! AND HOW YOU MEASURE AT THE CORNER HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHAH

  • HA HA HA HA HA HA YOU BUY AN EXPENSIVE TV AND YOU HAVE WIRES COMING DOWN THE WALLS. WHAT A JOKE

  • Where could i get those little white things for the cables?

  • Remarkably uninsightful.

  • is this really a science??

  • he does hide the cables ,,,,lol ,,,too funny dude ,,,,jakass

  • The fact that he's hot makes me want to listen.

He should have done that whole segment with his shirt off.

  • @Monger4142 Cutting a hole in the wall to run the power cable is also against North American building code.

If you want to do it right get an electrician to put an outlet behind the mount.

  • Use SNAPTOGGLE Toggle Bolts if you can't find a wood stud. Amazing anchors!!

  • @661EASTON89 to funny LOL

  • @stewardsproductions Damn that's crazy it's already been a whole year since I left that comment. lol I remember this video clearly.

  • I least this helps for people who live in apartment complex.

  • You GOT to try the Magic Stud Finder products, if you want to hang anything on walls ,thats the tool you need.

  • @Monger4142 or simply use a wire mold wire channel to hide the wires

  • Nice.. WAY .. WAY to high on the wall lol.

  • to be honest i cant do this i need sum1 to do it for me!!!

  • mmm....use a pocket level at one corner to measure correct level? not very pro there.

can can tell you right now all plastic framed tv are not straight, not like glass framed ones. So people pls use at least a 2 foot level to measure and dont be a dumbass having a flat screen on the wall with wires exposed. you maight as well put it on a table.

And yes i put 2-3 panels on the wall everyday. anyone needs real tips, email me.

  • @enilyksnor hey we bought 55 inches tv and the hdmi cable runs out on the left side and tv wire runs in the center we want htem to bring every thing to center and do wire management can you tell me wat to do

  • @harsha7176 55" samsung?. anyways, you mentioned that you want the cables to come to the center of the TV, by the sound of things via ducting?? if this is the case what you do is (for DIY ers), hang the bracket, bolt the cable duct in and allow it to go at least 50-100mm past the TV bottom line. plug in your cables into the TV THEN hang your TV. now, with TV hung on the hooks, have someone tilt the TV out at the bottom (do not lift) then from underneath run your cables into the duct in thecenter

  • @harsha7176 then close the duct after pulling all the cable slacks down. slowly rest the TV back on the wall and check for any connections that may bottom out or kinks. be careful with HDMI and optical connection as they donot like to bend so leave a bit of slack.

hope this helps. but if anyone from Sydney, Australia need pro help can always drop me a line.

  • They didn't hide the cables, they just removed them for that shot.

  • Run the cable behind the wall. Then install a receptacle ( outlet ) next to the tv for quick and easy plug in.

My entertainment system is gonna be da bomb when I decide to buy my own place.

  • Ha ! This probably blows the minds of half the college grads these days.

    No real skills anymore.

  • lol

  • lol

  • You can hide the cables with a decorative piece called a "cable raceway"...it's basically just a box that goes over top of it. It generally looks best centered under the TV, IMHO.

  • They Tryed to hide the cables on his head

  • he's cute

  • he is cute...!!

  • how do u comment on an instructional dvd

  • not bad white boy

  • well , I noticed the cables , however

he was trying to help in how to install a wall mount for a flat Tv

    not how to hide cables.!

it;s up to the person to runs the cables behind the drywall + responsability

beside he can;t advise to do so, since he could be breaking a code.

    think! ! !

  • lol nice comment ... i agree i noticed the same thing but u beat me to it

  • I saw that too lol. Too funny. YOU ARE FIRED!!!

  • lmao

  • what about ....... cables ??????

  • if you're nervous about running the power cord through you're walls you could get a licensed electrition to place power outlets right behind the tv. However running any other cables should not be a problem.

  • What a cop-out. At the end of the video, they tried to hide the ugly ass cables hanging down the wall behind "Andrew's" head. What a bitch move on their part. Get a kit or something that hides it.

To people who are wondering why they don't put the cords the wall, 1) as some have said not everyone is a homeowner and 2) when your house burns down from an electrical fire, its going to be hard to convince the insurance company to pay for all your shit, including that sweet 50 inch flat screen.

  • gigimanjo, your technically right. I dont have any friends or family that actually installed an outlet behind the tv...everyone just ran the power cable through the wall. a vertical run between two studs is no big deal....hell the wire is probablly SAFER then if it was outside the wall. spending $5 on two low volt boxes and a sheet rock saw would yeild a nice clean install. Not to mention, most people dont realize HOW many things in there home are not to code...like an outlet in a closet.

  • Fuck the code, people! Why are you so brainwashed? Power cable is perfectly safe inside the wall, your walls are full of electric cables anyway. If you want to be safe/r buy some sleeves for power cables in the wall.

  • for most people asking themselves: why didnt he pass the cables thru the wall???well simple like some said its the easy way and the renting way not everyone owns there own home and when u rent u cant be punching holes all thru the house and thats the reason it was done the easy way

  • Ultragrave, you cant run the power cable through the drywall. Well, you can, but its againts code. So that wouldnt be very professional, now would it.

  • Question - Do most people hang them that high or more at eye level? I just had mine installed at about that same level but now think it should be a bout a foot lower...Where do most people hang them?

  • Expert my ASS. WHY use the level AFTER you've drilled holes and mounted the wall plate. Use it BEFORE to make sure your placement is level before making the holes... duh

  • @CamthalionZA if you look more you'll see that there is 2 holes only then he could regulate the angular move if it's not perfect

  • Proffessional install? people don't want to spend that kind of money, but you can use a hole saw behind the tv where the wall mount is, and then directly below where the hole you made was, towards the base of the floor drill another hole, and pull the cables through the wall, and buy a "mud ring" and put a plate on it, to make it look proffessional.

some people will do this in base boards, and mount the mud ring sideways, then place a entertainment center below.

  • @ultragrave you wanna come install mine? bumped into this video as I am researching how to do this ...i am one of those college degree holders whose mind is blown by this: I simply do not know how to do this.

  • @GeetaCLall Don't be afraid to try things. Maybe just start on a smaller, less expensive project.

  • Bad job..

  • cool cables ajaja..

  • it was more like hair transplant for men ad

  • This video only looks professional, but it is not a professional job. A professional job would be to hide the wires, it is a distraction to have so many wires running down the wall.

  • His head is hiding the cables in the end like they just disappeared. Terribly over simplified

  • should I paint the wires the same color as my wall?

  • you should spend 55$ to buy these: Recessed Pro Power Kit w/Straight Blade Inlet White

  • Very cool video. The guy is very handsome too i love his smile on 0:29. Thanks

  • the wires on the wall looks awful

  • Great video! It's also clever that your head blocks the hideous wire that runs down the wall. :)

  • @strumpeteer if the wires are hanging.. just get a bracket to go over it!

  • @strumpeteer LOL! I thought I was the only one that noticed that!! I dont want my wiring exposed at all.

  • Excellent demo - just what I needed.

  • Thanks men!
