  • These are not treasure, for some reason.....I find this in the streets, malls, everywhere!

  • Ahjumma hat!!!! :)

  • asian women like to have pale skin because of the social class or something.

asia's like the complete opposite of america.

  • @LuvinTheAznLife it's like that in a lot of countries, in latin american if you're pale you're considered beautiful and some even call you a prince/princess, but if you're super dark they think you're dirt poor

  • @analivita

I think its like if you are of a higher status, you don't work outside very much? Indoors= pale skin

Working outside often will cause darker skin.

Its 1 am, so I am a bit out of it....-____-

  • @chicolate97 i guess it could

but it's the opposite for me =.=

when i go to southern mexico, i work A LOT, and i end getting lighter, but when i'm here in San Diego just being a lazy bum and school, i get super dark :/

  • @analivita I've heard that too... I don't think that's fair because everyone is beautiful, why should skin color matter? Sad how the world works sometimes.

  • @veganheart1 ikr? every time i try to convince my hair person to dye my hair red he always yells at me telling me that i'll look darker and i'm like "sooo?? i want red hair!!!!" and he just shakes his head =.=

  • lol my mom bought one of those from super h-mart.... and she actually wore it do disney world when we went there for vacation XD

  • Haha, so that's what my brother saw asian girls wearing in Hawaii. I had no clue what he was talking about at the time becuase i never saw them.

  • Nichkhun brought Victoria something like that in WGM.

  • I see people wearing these all the time in Toronto and when I do I stare. Real hard. So they realize how awkward they look.

  • Grüße Fräulein, Sturm-Verbot-Führer, I plan to make one of them, but was not sure that it is great vibroacoustically did crack the police shield

  • YES YES YES YES STRONG BAD REFERENCE!!!!!!

  • "I'm sorry potato"

  • Holy crap, seriously nearly every day of my life since 2006 when i first saw that video I've been hearing "duradoo duradoo The System is down" in my head... I'm glad I'm not the only one

  • Nickhun gave this to Victoria in WGM! XD

  • @simonandmartina hey! if you look up "Reece Street Market Dongdaemun Seoul" on youtube theres a lady in the beginning wearing one of these! lol

  • An hour away from where I live there's a store called the "trade center" and it's pretty cool like it's as big as a super center and it looks like ur going down streets while inside because the street name tells you what country you're in and that's what they sell down that isle. So I went down Korea and they had these lol but I've seen those at so many flea markets and I've seen a lot of ppl at waterparks and beaches wearing them

  • nickhun bought one of those for victoria :3

  • homestarrunner at the end lol

    the cheat's lightswitch rave

  • i went to universal studios yesterday and someone had these on xD

  • Oh MY GOD I WENT LIKE 'Keep your head dooooooooooooooooownnn' TOO xDDDDd

  • "that must of hurt alot im sorry potato" AWWWWWWWWWWWWWWWW :D

  • lol I just arrived in Seoul yesterday and I saw a lady with a blue one on!

  • hey! I used to wear those when I was a kid :)

  • Why did Martina leave her high school?

  • I just got back from a trip to Korea and I saw sooo many people with those and I was like "omg people actually where those"

  • I was in Vancouver last week, and I actually saw several asian ladies wearing these!!! I immediately thought of you guys ^^

  • Martina, do you ever use Aegyo on Simon? does it work on CDn guys?? lol

  • simon and martuina I saw those visors in Chinatown in LA when I vist there. They have excatly the same one as the one in the video. Muhaha, I was tempted to buy one but I do not lived in the beach. Saw the visors after watching ure video. muhaha XD

  • those have been popular in my city for many years xD my city is filled with Japanese & Korean people..so i guess that explains it all.

  • I think the stickers on the buses are to make it more hygienic coz it'll be easier to clean? :) xx

  • My mom (korean) never liesk to take off the plastic off like screens..She's like

    IT'LL SCRACTH!!

  • hahahahaha bonerama bonerama even though it should be bonamana bonamana

  • BUT. BUT. YOU JUST RANDOMLY BURST OUT INTO THE SYSTEM IS DOWN.

MY LOVE IS BIGGER THAN THE GINGERBREAD MAN'S VITALITY FOR YOU TWO RIGHT NOW.

STOP IT WITH THE HOMESTAR RUNNER REFS WITH OUT WARNING. MY HEART CAN NOT HANDLE IT.

  • Actually, if you come to California, every and I mean EVERY middle aged asian lady will be sporting a visor, sunglasses, and arm sleeves. Once i grow up, I'm sure I'll do the same...

  • omg if i dont peel off the stickers i will go craazy

  • Oh my gosh whenever you say or sing something that involves Homestarrunner, I always get so excited!

  • A lot of people in Hong Kong wear this too.

And my mom wears it ALL the time to keep her face white xD

  • I'll make sure to buy that if I'm ever a welder, a vampire, or solar flares go into over drive.

  • Wow ! French subs too now \o/

  • I was in Newmarket Ontario the other day and I saw a woman with that visor :D

  • I'm sorry potato <3

  • oh my god sun I want one of those!! i hate my skin being burned and damaged by the sun!!

  • Love how they sing SuJu in the end.

  • Have seen them in front of that window thousands of time and am JUST NOW noticing the reflection and that you can see the camera.... Ha sit always been open?

  • @destined2bebossy I realized that as well. Maybe it's because they moved houses and these windows are darker or something. =\

  • @tatilopespt ooo ok. I didn't know they moved

  • omg LOL I loved the Keep Your Head Down reference hahahaa :P

And a lot of people (or maybe just Asians..) keep the plastic covering on to protect the actual surface of the object from breaking/getting scratched that quickly. xD

  • I don't think Korean Women look young all the time

some young female singers like Krystal, GP Basic, A Pink look older than their real age

  • 3:37

  • even SHINee has those in lucifer <3 that explains it's coolness!

  • 2:36-2:41 haha oh Martina

  • LOL.... My whole family has each of our own....

  • omg, I still do that!. lol I have the protector plastic on my cell phone that I had for the past 4 years. and on my flat screen t.v. I had for the past 2 years. I do that not to look like it's new. But to keep it "looking" new. I protects from getting scratches and stains. It drives my friends crazy, but Hey, It's my phone and my t.v. it doesn't bother me. And they still look NEW! hahaha

  • Thumbs up if you saw Martina and Eat Your Kimchi on the latest NYLON magazine!

  • LMAO Asians just hate peeling off the sticker

  • LOL! Bonamana in the end! love SJ and love u guys !

  • LOL it's the asian mom visor. simon and martina, these have been around for a really long time, i remember my mom started using them when i was in elementary school (like 2000?). she wears them while she drives so she doesnt get tan. my dad makes fun of this visor all the time and calls it her warrior mask.

  • If Simon wore that visor they way he was wearing it out in the sun for a day, he'd have a really odd stripe of tan/sunburn on his forehead...HAHA!

  • @hisaide bro, simon's married to martina.

  • east asians(chinese, koreans, and japanese) are super hardcore when it comes to their desire to stay as pale as they possibly can!!!!!!! a tan is big NO NO! 90% of the time, if you tell a chinese, korean or japanese woman that they have nice lovely tan skin, it's considered an INSULT> LOL>..i've noticed their men tend to be darker(cuz they're not as obsessed with staying pale as they can)...i've seen plenty of japanese men with brown tanned skin but u hardly see a japanese girl with tan skin

  • I can't believe you sung "Bonamana"~~!!! :D I was just listening to that before I came to this video!!

  • we've had those in LA for ever

stop by chinatown and youll see a bunch of old ladys wearing them

  • what the meaning of (fingthing) in koréan language????????????

  • hahahahahaha, like a woman!!

  • LOL KEEP YOUR HEAD DOWN XD

  • I really enjoyed the Homestarrunner reference. Thank you for that!

  • This reminds me of Khuntoria so much! HAHAHA!

  • Old korean women ftw.

  • omgomgomg LIKE A WOMANNNN XD

  • I'm going to start taking care of my skin like they do.

  • How can you see through those? O_O

  • new house tour please :D you guys are amazing

  • Even here in California Korean Moms use this when driving.

  • I LOVE STRONG BAD! iMMA GO TO HOME STAR RUNNERS HOMEPAGE RIGHT NOW!

  • heheh simon's ears 2:56

  • OMG STRONGBAD REFERENCE!!!!

  • @7crysb7 I LOVE STRONG BAD! iMMA GO TO HOME STAR RUNNERS HOMEPAGE RIGHT NOW!

  • LIKE A WOMAN =D XD

  • Visors make me think of Khuntoria :)

  • I agree with the old women looking young, i was shocked at first. but on the visors thing, mostly old people and children wear those things middle aged people dont really wear those they wear hats and glasses or sunscreen its like dorky! but for kids they make cute ones and they need to protect from the sun, they are smart enough to realize the sun is BAD. but old people are used to wearing it when they work and sunglasses dont really suit them so, i think its brilliant!

  • @acting303 the sun is not bad for you...unless you intentionally stay out in the sun for more than 2 hours to get a TAN. .if u're just walking about your day(to work or to the market), wearing sunscreen is enough protection. koreans wear the visor due to their "pale obsession".korean ppl(especially women) avoid the sun cuz they are obsessed with staying as pale as they possibly can. their idea of beauty is pale skin, big eyes, and being super girly. .atleast majority of them.

  • @heomak i am korean and i visit korea regulary so yes i undertsnad that. but its not their obsession to become PALE they hate sunspots and dont want to age faster and to them being dark means your from like the country and you work a lot. and contrary to popular belief people do tan over there on purpose esp during the summer to give them a "sexy" feeling. old women take care the most whose skin is vital to hem. so before you characterize the poeple as being OBSESSIVE you should check first.

  • @heomak its not that they want to be PALE thats different, thts deemed as bad since it looks unhealthy. their ideal skin is FAIR and milky and moist and dewy healthy skin. occasionally a healthy glow from the sun. but soouth koren walk everywhere so yeah they do end up being in the sun most of their days its not like what you described as just a stroll in the park. they wear sunscreen, and are afraid of freckles/discoloration. the sun is damaging if see it like koreans do on a daily basis.

  • @acting303 that's why u see koreans and japanese people carry umbrellas even on perfectly temperate/ moderate days...they just dont wanna get dark! If they didn't obsessively avoid the sun, koreans and japanese can get as dark as southeast asians....asian skin(like middle eastern skin and basically non white european skin) is naturally capable of getting darker. i know cuz i used to study dermatology.

  • @morelovecandoo365 aw come on the sun visors ARE pretty ridiculous. My mum wears them with pride here in NZ and I'm like No. I'm getting you a proper sunhat.

  • uhm. i know you don't mean it to be offensive but, i think some videos you guys seem to make fun of the culture and what they do.

    likeeee. nooo offennseee.

  • @morelovecandoo365 no i noticed that too. the age thing was really racist :/

  • well they dont only have those visors in korea..they actually have it everywhere lol asians everywhere have it haha

  • RACISTS

  • the song u sang in the end sounded like "we are the future" by H.O.T.

  • they're really common, so common i see them here in california everyday!

  • HAHA koreans think of this sun protector as a totally normal thing to wear everywhere you go!...

  • LIKE A WOMAN!!!

haha, I am going to over-use that!

  • @IkkieIkkieProduction yup. just like mourdney present. lol

  • Gracias por los subtítulos ! jaajja morí de la risa! uajajajja xd

  • I want those "sunglass-hat" too!

Protect me from the sun and from being tan!

korean people love their white skin! hahaha

  • Do a video on the Korean cars where people leave the plastic foam things on the edge of the doors. I saw sooooo many of those when I visited Seoul last year.

  • LIKE A WOMAN! *explodes in laughter*

  • STRONGBAD!!!!!!!! YOU GUYS JUST CLIMED UP MY LATTER BY 2098401948390325798349817389472 STEPS XDD

  • Keke, google "Typical Asian Aging Process" in images :)

    Menopause changes everything.

  • @thestalker210 haha yeah he's called her that in some other videos too.. i guess it's his pet name for her? um cute? right? hahaha

  • Lol, I got that thing in Korea when I was like 7yrs old.. I still have it..

  • i really need those visors, you don't even know. i'm very serious. can't find it anywhere here waaa

  • Ewwwwwwwwwwwwwww! SALIVA!!!

  • When Simon said ' Like a woman ' , My face was like ' O_o ?! ' & I was like screaming ' NO SIMON YOU'RE NOT A WOMAN ! '

    Conclusion - I would prefer simon saying Like a man :3 ,

    I'm a woman , But .. Yeah :D

  • lol. you guys are hilarious! i officially love you! XD and lol at the dbsk and SuJu references! :3

  • Haha homestarr runner techno song!~ I sent one of these home as a joke, but every korean I told about it didn't think it was a joke, in fact the man at the stand though I was actually buying one for myself and told me I had good style. It had glitter....

  • i wanna remove the protective film! so bad now! lol :D

  • Like a WOMAN!!..=)

  • Yay~ DDBSK~

  • Its a Korean thing, my boyfriend still has the plastic film on his phone >.>

  • @shimirabilis It's more like it's just an Asian thing in general. All of the computers and laptops and TVs etc. etc. in our house still have their protective films on. I'm in the process of peeling one off this keyboard right now...

  • You can remove the inside and outside stickers :)

  • i just looove it when you guys use Bonamana XD

  • I have one of these! :O

  • OMG.... DBSK reference FTW! ^_^!

  • Was watching Korean Drama "Manny". Happened to see one of those visors being worn with Roots Canada embroidered on the band. It was not Rockin Blue...

  • AHHAHAHAHAHHHA. 12 YRS OLD 12 YRS OLD12 YRS OLD12 YRS OLD12 YRS OLD12 YRS 19 YRS OLD.. Like a man. :)

  • Khuntoria! :D

  • OMG did you guys just reference "strong bad!?" hahaha i love that short. esp "hey, that light switch is not for you to turn on and off for raves" haha

  • A lot of WTF's that you guys talk about are actually not originated from Korea or limited in Korea only; they're really common everywhere in Asia.

  • @iAngelizm haha i don't mind ! they're still fun and very asian :) esp these visors, although i only see old ladies wear them. do young people wear them too!?!

  • The plastic thing is Asian thing. Not something limited to Korean, I know family members who do it.

  • True that they aren't uncommon here. But I think it being on WTF is warranted for their sheer scaryness. LOL for spit guards!!! When Asians in my neighbourhood walk around with those it looks like a raging super soldier droid got separated from the pack. Seeing a crowd wear them must be the scariest thing.

  • Subtitulos en español(: Now can I understand better, YEY! haha you're awesome guys(: <3
