swords not crosses i ordered a new one for my birthday it owns but i'll probly rip out the emg-hz and throw in an 81 with the pa-2 gain boost switch. i'm sure eventually i'll route out the neck and throw in an emg 60 for when i want to play sloppily but dont want anyone to know lmao any who its sword inlays not crosses :)

i have emg 81 on my rr24 its supposed to be a metal only pickup but its my also my pickup wich sound the best on clean

EMG HZ are passive,so there is no need use of batteries,while emg 60 need batteries cuz they are active pick ups

god emg 80's& 81's are SO common. dont people have any sense of tonality anymore? 2 ppl play emgs and everyone starts it. its so freaking common. they arnt even decent sounding pickups. IMO. id say stop being a clone and find your own sound. bodom has their own sound and it works great. 80 & 81 are just garbage wanna be metal pickups.

yeah maybe, I suppose. But like different amp setups and all are unique. Alexi uses passive HZ

exactly. passive are IMO much better for tone. less signal interference. soon strings are going to be battery powered.lol. i dont even think amps make a huge difference. equalizers, pick ups, tone make the biggest difference, and volume. basically amps are just amplifying the sound. i prefer the cleanest channels so i can add what i want in a more pure sound enviroment. but thats tonal anality.lol.
