the sound effects are already syncronised when you buy the decoder, you can change them depending on what controller you have but i think it sounds fine the way it is, i also got a bigger speaker fitted in the class 50 and 31 which was only a few pounds more

Sounds great.
The only thing missing at start up is the smoke coming out of the four exhausts.
