from my opinion sc3 had the best plot and character appearances (for the new characters) they should've left sc3 alone and made sc 4 with the same stuff as part 3 but with better graphics

@SaninsFan1 then thatd be boreing i mean they shouldnt have made it the way they did either cuz sc4 was nowhere near as good as sc3 but they could improve on some things that sc3 messed up on like the tales of the sword mode and just given us more detail with character creation and more options in sc4 they almost completely stripped us of options they just added more colors -_-

With each part, Nightmare becomes more and more wicked. And in SCIV I can barely understand what the hell he's saying (without subtitles).

He had the best voice and appearance in SCII. Yeah, I'm a bit nostalgic.

@ejzimmerle nightmare cant die, nightmare is actually an armor controlled by inferno, and inferno usually its in his sword form (soul edge), inferno cant be destroyed which makes im nearly invencible, only soulcalibur can defeat him.

Beautiful work, but awful direction -- rather, lack of direction in the opening movie. The best one has to be Soul Calibur for Dreamcast as far as openings go. Soul Blade's was good too.

I think the only flaw in this video was that there was too much Algol. It didn't make any sense. I mean, when I came home from the store and put the game in, I'm sitting there thinking "wtf is this?"

The story of Soulcalibur is great, as long as it stays away from the silent movie stuff. The rest of the video was fine; just that crap with Algol ruined it. :/

Oh, and the PS3 version (unlockable on 360 if you download Vader) has a better opening. :P

Come on dude; you know that's just excerpt from the extra movie (Vader vs. Mitsurugi).

But you're right; this didn't have enough fighting. Ivy vs. Hilde and Yoda vs. Astaroth/The Apprentice vs. Taki/Vader vs. Mitsurugi. Technically, Siegfried and Nightmare had an ice vs. fire war, but that wasn't enough.

Was anyone else ....completely unimpressed with this opening? The only redeeming quality was being able to create a custom character then see them face off against Cervantes in the CGI. Only slightly so since All they use is Ambition from SC3.

This is the best Soul Calibur yet, Namco and Project Soul did a fantastic job on this game. Te characters are nearly flawless, and again, I am so impressed with how good this game acutally is. :) GO SOUL CALIBUR 4!!!!!
