  • yeah they dont know how to fly

  • They should learn to fly at that club, Mupppets.

  • @23431769 You should have some idea what you're talking about before you post. Most of these "oops" moments were actually demonstrations of some mighty fine flying.

  • Is that a crash test or a crash show?

  • Amateurs do not know how to properly put together a model?

  • i think the crossair was like that in real life too from what i have seen and heard

its a train wreak while landing and take off, but once in the air its a beast

  • @mecamoon nope, the CORSAIR was well known for good landing characteristics

  • @DressedWings no sorry

  • @mecamoon what? "no sorry"

  • @DressedWings i dont know why i said that man

  • what a shitty runway with no crash soft area. who is running this?

  • FFS please put "RC" in your movie titles. So sick of seeing RC toys when I'm looking for real aircraft.

  • So how novice are we talking here? Just born?

  • Noob LOL

  • Remember, most of these planes are built and flown by your average "hobbyist". These people in general lack training in full scale airframes and power plants, and approach this as a past-time. Crashing IS an option for them, and their approach to building and flying proves that point. I just bought a used 89" P-47 and I had to tear the entire plane apart and re-build it to make it structurally and mechanically sound. And yes, the pneumatic retract lines were leaking air...

  • Back in the good ole days before retracts were made in China.......

  • If that was my expensive scale model I think I would be aiming for the grass if the undercarriage failed.

  • bad replays -.-

  • tell ya what, if I landed a dead stick with no gear and it went as well as that last one i'd be proud. after watching this I dunno if I'd ever want to fly anything with retracts, they seem to be a common point of failure :-P

  • i feel bad for the p-51..my favourite plane of all times...

  • Good job on the video.

  • 89 percent of these oops were landing gear probs

  • slow mo of every incident. boring. dislike.

  • Whos the idiot with a swastika on his plane? Seriously.

  • @TheKeyWestian It's a model of the Fw190, a German warplane. That hardly makes him an idiot. Are you a history revisionist? Do you think, like in Orwell's 1984, that if you erase all record of the past, history will no longer exist?

    He is not the idiot

  • @MrBoolyman Of course I know it is a German warplane. However, I don't feel the need to go into such detail as to put on a swastika.

  • @TheKeyWestian Now I'm curious. How is the swastika so offensive to you that it must be stricken from use? Everybody knows what it represents, but it's a part of real history. It's a beautiful model, and the swastika belongs right where it is. I can't believe I'm spending any more time on this. Over and out.

  • @MrBoolyman Alright whatever.

  • @TheKeyWestian

It's his plane not yours...you don't get to vote.

  • 2:11 and 3:05 nice planes

  • the question is if 1:25 happens isn't it smarter to land on grass ?

  • I will NEVER understand why pilots don't think to shut off the engine when the gear obviously isn't coming down. At the very least you might save a prop, and you surely will keep your engine from sudden shutdown.

  • First thing i would say is shallow up. yes war birds require a little more speed to land but seriously, shallow your approach and land on the fricken smooth grass,

2nd thing i would say is if you are flying of pavement, put some wheel brakes on them.

  • The dude with the Jug at 4:36 had the right idea. well put down!

  • @Blackfox1980 agreed, some of the others looks like the planes weren't even trimmed out o.O

  • good vid but i hate it when you show it again after. if we wanted to see it again we can rewind a bit!

  • 1:28 should have landed on the grass, less damage to your bottom side of that jet

  • stop playing the replays its crap

  • looks like walmart landing gears XD

  • what really makes me wonder is why they dont kill their engines on final...would of prevented some of these crashes...

  • Nice save on the F-16.

  • why did they land so freakin fast???

  • Bananna Hobby landing gear...

  • Beautiful landing with the P-47, I bet he hardly scratched it.

  • Please, Please, Please. Next time you put a clip together, do not "replay" so often, or at all. I'm quit capable of rewinding if I would like, youtube makes that pretty simple.

  • @2k1Nate dick

  • @2k1Nate Well i'm glad he put the clips together with the replays as i'm an idle cunt it saves me from clicking the mouse. RCUNIVERSE please do all your video's this way to piss this youtube troller !

  • @2k1Nate Oh please please please STFU cry baby

  • 2:39 is like " no no no no NO NO N-god dammit....."

  • u have a BIG PROBLEM with ur runways...!

  • these giys can not fly

  • @AZDog59 Thank you. Now I want a radio control plane for Christmas. And, I'm a beginner, so can you help me if I get one? Thanks!

  • @Mr999111888222 get the hobbyzone super cub or the champ

  • I saw it the FIRST time!

  • You fly to fly, not to wreck them. Wrecks are however, part of it. I've been flying 23 years and if you approach the building and flying methodically just as you would full scale aviation, wrecks are few and far between. Something you would not do in full scale is go out and fly a P-51 if the only thing you've flown is a Cessna 152. Although they are unbelieveable builders, these guys are flying models way beyond their abilities. No fancy maneuvers here, they're just landing or taking off. Jeez!

  • Landing gears=Made In China

  • I've flown RC for 25 years and it always amazes me that the best builders are the worst pilots- there are certain notable exceptions. Guys who fly kit-built, or custom designs, quick and patchy airplanes can fly the best. The smart builders who know their flying limitations almost always ask the best pilots at the flield to fly their babies.

  • 1:27 is a landing w/o landing gear!

  • @dnetrv Cool story brah. Wanna tell it again?

  • I love how at 3:08, everyone starts clapping at the crash.

  • 2:40 was epic

  • There is nothing worst than crashing your scratch build scale model.

  • 3:35 is stuka

  • @zigastrmsek1 wrong. 3:35 is a f4u corsair.

  • At the plane by 1:52 is the swastika on the aileron !!!

  • Allot of mishaps for one event? But good to see that must damage was minor. A shame of that B25 in the start though.

  • love the "oops" moment videos - but still have a tear in my eye seein this planes crash

  • Another great video. Keep it up!

  • is it part of the hobby to crash the plane?

  • @arnaud1180 of course!

  • @arnaud1180 Yes it is. If you can't handle it it's the wrong hobby for you.

  • @arnaud1180 not the fun part. You fly to wreck them ; You wreck them to fix them so you can fly them again

  • @arnaud1180 most definitely.... what are you supposed to do, just fly em around? they need to be put to the test every once in a while :)

  • @arnaud1180 you didnt know

    ???

  • @arnaud1180 yes. XD

  • @arnaud1180 Is it part of driving to crash your car?

  • @arnaud1180 Yes, it is :-), and a lot of fun sometimes too :-P

  • @arnaud1180 no, but it happends all the time xD

  • @TheCarpmaster10 i guess they never came out...

  • what company is producing these retracts?

  • Retracts look great but they are not reliable.........even on a solid runway !

  • This just proves that retracts are a colossal P.I.T.A..

  • HAHA O'mera bent his wookie

  • P-40 two times crashed? Lol

  • A lot of these so called pilots stop flying as soon as the planes touch down, it is as though they do not realize they still have full controland can drive the planes using the rudder.

  • is it just me, or is there little bit of a sound lag in this vid?

  • wow that first crash would have me cursing like a sailor

  • amazing......some simply don't know how to fly! Too fast, too slow, stalling, poorly set up control surface movements all means they are behind the 8ball from takeoff! They can build to perfection but that's where it ends!

  • hard to watch but it lets us all know this is not a cheap sport and it happens to everyone, thanks for sharing

  • Ive seen better landings from amateur's at local flying clubs then these guys!...You can build all the fancy and exotic models you want but it means shit if you cant land the thing!!

  • Oh I know all about weight. You have no idea who you are typing too. I have plenty of giant scale planes well over 40lbs along with many real planes and more than 20,000 hours in just RC. Still the fact remains that there are lot of pilots who just dont know how or what really makes a plane fly. 40lbs or 100lbs should not be a problem when you think of how many tons fly in airliners. This video simply has caught on film "pilot errors"

  • @hydrojet7x70 im talking about landing dead stick genous you lose to much air speed you stall and hit the ground that is plane error and I know exactly who im talking too.

  • @RCboy221 ok.. I am just going to stop arguing with you. I see you are one of those kinds. I would try to enplane more but you just cant fix stupid! Keep flying because I never get to see crashes when I fly. I have to look up vids that you post! :)

  • @RCboy221 *explain

  • @RCboy221 I've landed dead stick plenty of times, and haven't crashed yet. It's not that hard.

  • @facefacts6969 i know its not but if you lose your air speed you stall

  • @RCboy221 Keep your nose down.

  • @71259mark Heres your sign

  • @RCboy221 Back at you, dummy! You need to keep the nose down, to avoid a stall. You, quite obviously, didn't know that.

  • @71259mark wanna bet

  • @RCboy221 Well, you ACTED like you didn't know it.

  • @RCboy221 LMAO thank you Bill.....

  • @snordqk bite me

  • @RCboy221 How about you get a life ;)

  • @snordqk i do have a life tool

  • @RCboy221 Eating twinkies doesnt count. >_>

  • I guarantee I would not let them fly my planes!!!

  • It will remain one of the darknest date in the aviation history, how many poor guys lost their lives on this day... more seriously, congrates to the F-15 pilot, perfect job !

  • haha... even most of the failures are pilot error. good thing you dont need a flight test like cars because 80% of these people wouldnt fly. lol

  • @hydrojet7x70 shut up you retarded troll you have no idea what its like to fly an rc plane. go troll some car vids

  • @RCboy221 Actually I do know. I have been flying for 22 years and like looking at aircraft videos. I could out fly all those guys with one hand! So my statement remains the same. Pilot Error!

  • @hydrojet7x70 I been flying for 7 years. have WON 7 New York imac tournaments and currently fly a 88in extreme flight edge 540 and a 110 in carf models p 47! So my statement remains. Shut Up!

  • @RCboy221 dude... i am correct get over it. i dont think you flew every craft in this video. my point is correct and simply there are a lot of pilot error in this video. bouncing on landings, stalling feet above the runway, tip stalling, not staying lined up down the center line of the runway, missing the runway all together, and more. yes there were "some saves" but most of the crashes could have been avoided. "pilot error" so if you competed against these guys your win is kinda lame.

  • @hydrojet7x70 landing a 40 pound airplane deadstick on a small runway. the plane will do things out of your cantrol. its happend to me. and who hell i was competing against these.

  • @hydrojet7x70 and i bet I can out fly you any day

  • @RCboy221 better keep your day job

  • Stop whining on each other, make peace and stop trolling on the internet. You think the other one is the dumbest but I tell you what, you are both as dumb as the other one for whining all the time. Some people failed in these videos, but the majority did not fail because their landing gear was to weak and broke. Stop trolling, thank you.

  • I just got my first warbird, a BF-109, and it is a nightmare on the ground. In the air it is fun to fly but it wants to bury it's nose in the dirt every chance it gets.

Half the crashes in this video were due to failed landing gear not lack of skill.

I used to watch videos of people crashing their big warbirds and think they need to go back to a trainer before they fly those beauties, now I know better.

  • Its horrible to watch peoples hard work and beautiful models get destroyed.

However, crashes are always entertaining......great video!!

  • @Mlacky555 1- Its part of the hobby (unless your good (like me))

2- By hard work you mean the 5mins of assembly becuase of all these RTF and ARF's?

  • I simply cant beleive so many things can go wrong in one day!

what are the pilots doing, most of them ned to go back to basics and learn to land properly.

  • @mrinverted232 Dang dude nobody wants to hear you troll around. Go make your fail sim videos and grow up. Landing a real rc plane is way harder than a sim. And dont get me started about PROPERLY...

  • @SecondCocacola

I know landing real Rc planes is harder than a sim, if you take just a second to look at some of my videos you will see that i do know what I am talking about. I fly F3A comps ,Jet turbines and 3D comps I fly shows around the UK and fly at the JMA Jet Mod Association displays, do you?

Before making comments about other people look at some of the videos they have done, you wont feel so foolish will you. I checked out your vids.. and is that the best you can do. youre a begginer

  • @mrinverted232 Then why the hell you you say they need to go back to landing school if you are telling me to not judge others then? HUH WHAT WAS THAT? That was the sound of you learning to shut up and not troll. You should try 3D flying its much more fun and harder than flying F3A...

  • @SecondCocacola

I do fly 3D I have currently on trial from Extreme Flight a 78" Extra on A hacker A60-7s 28 pole motor running on 10s

I have the only A60-7s in the UK and am running trials for Hacker and Extreme Flight

I have also owned 3 88.5" Extras with DA50 ... 2 of my old Extras are flying the UK IMAC scene, If you get a minute look for Ian Watson on you tube and find his Krill Katana, I have the set up now.

You can only dream to be in the company I keep and standard I fly.

    Wake up .

  • I hate deadsticks! I wish you could get an electric starter so that you can start the engine again in the air! does anyone no of one of these?

  • Very nice pictures. No so nice for the pilots, but there was no 100 % crash.

    Thanks for sharing

    Chris

  • The F-16 pilot at 4:20 is a master!!

  • Yes I was there and I had never seen so many crashes, Saturday was unbelievable the amount of planes that was crashed! Very sad to see so many planes tore up! I felt bad for these guys that lost a plane! I know the work that go into them and sure hate to see them crashed, Not sure what was going on that day but I do remember watching the wind sock changing direction allot all day!

  • Good god. They look like they all fall victim to bad pilot landings. Either that or tail wind on landing. Alot of wheel fails also

  • Did all of this occur on the same day?

  • 3:40 The ParkZone Corsair.....LoL i have one of them.

They glue up better than the balsa planes n take more punishment ;oP

    Great Vids. ;o0

  • Was the grass strip land mined ?

  • You don't have to slo-mo these clips. lol

  • THose Tri-planes or WWI biplanes in general, look like a absolute bear....

I want to go to this, just to see these wrecks...

  • You notice how 90% of these have a landing gear failure? The rest seem to be dead sticks. No major carnage it seems other than the very first .

  • That is why I spent the extra time to get

    my gear in order....

  • Excellent video. At 1:22" - why not landing the jet on the grass stripe parallel to the rwy?
