  • Vo5 conditioners are not cheap I am biracial and I find them a good alternative to that expensive mixed chicks stuff

  • my name is ashanti too !!

  • bitch u look drunk

  • Thanks for the tip!

  • yall use conditioner as co-washes and to detangle.... Has anyone noticed it makes your hair super soft?

  • hang on, she hasnt bathed in 2 weeks?!

  • that was great! love it thx for sharing.

  • Shida boo boo why come you didn't come over and tell me this before?! LOL ... actually I never wear box braids any more and hubby usually takes his own down and it takes him FOREVER. This time it was a breeze with this method. Thanks for the video response. yayness!

  • Ms. Glamazini, Ms. Glamazini... Are you a subscriber of my channel? If you are, then you should have seen this video. :-)

  • @ShidaNatural The shame *hangs head loooooooow* ... I just subbed like last week :*( ... sorry, I was totally out the loop, forgive me *waaaa*

  • thanks for the tip. i have type 4b hair that locs when i do two strand twist. therefore, i have to be very careful.

  • Let me know how you make out using this method to take your twists out.

  • would this technique work if you have kinky twist?

  • I think this technique would be perfect for taking out kinky twists.

  • Cool video.. this technique could be used on just about anyone that wants to easily detangle their hair.. great tips!

  • love seeing you share your haircare with your daughter.

  • Awesome video, thanks so much:)

  • I do it the same with my girls who are 5 & 6, but I'll sometimes even add a bit of olive oil with the conditioner & water (definitely untwisting from the end to the root. Great video!

  • We both think alike... I was gonna mention that you could add some EVOO in the bottle of VO5 conditioner for extra slip, but wanted to keep it simple for the viewers. Glad you mentioned it though.

  • Thanks for this tip. I get a lot of knots at the end of my hair, when I leave them in twists or braids for over a week.

  • same with my daughter... This really does help loosen those knowt.

  • Thank you for that demo, I will try it on my daughters hair when I take down her kinky twists. Keep the videos coming. :) Peace.

  • Can you let me know how you make out?

  • Awesome idea! I've always wanted to do twists on my hair, but as you know it's not as curly and I wonder if it would hold... Anyways this is an awesome technique for getting out braids. :)

  • Wow!!! This was so HELPFUL I was always looking for a way to take out my sisters' twists. Thanks!!

  • Not a bad idea. Would this be considered a co-wash as well? Kill 2 birds with one stone?

  • Yes, I actually was thinking the same thing when I was doing this process. Actually, the VO5 conditioner and water not only was mildly cleansing her hair, but it really defined her curls so I let her wear her hair out curly all day after taking the twists out then the next day I co-washed, conditioned, and styled her hair the way she's gonna wear it for school.

  • Trust me boo boo... For my daughter's hair, it did take all that. Her hair knots at the ends for whatever reason so I need all the slippage I can get especially when her twists were looking more like locs cuz I left the 2-strand twists in too long... lol

  • L0L u t0ld her!

anywayz, i like ur hair, its

s0 black and shiny. (well it appears black)

    and that's an awes0me idea, it w0rks 4 me t00

  • I wasn't tryna tell her off. I just wanted to let her know that it works wonders for my child's hair. I think I only got 1 ouch from her when I was taking out her twists... lol

  • that's a great idea!
