DK Pass was on mario kart ds (2005), DK summit is probably what you were thinking of, that was on mario kart wii (2008). Kalimari Desert was on mario kart 64 (1996).

In Mario Kart 64 I got hit by a Lightning, Blue shell, one of those ink shooter, and a red shell which in fact knocked my character over the finishline for a win. Bowser Castle.

bowser just seems slow because hes so big and it actually zooms out a bit but with toad, hes so small he seems fast because of scale

with bowser, you have to be in like 2nd place for a while and after 1/4 a lap, you will be a speed demon if you drift right and dont get bumped or crash. choosing him can be very good or detrimental

@sarahpod Sometimes unlock karts. That's what I heard though, it might not be real. Gurantee that the coins speed you up that's all I know.

Oh, wow, they added a new section in Daisy Cruiser at the beginning of the lap. I don't remember the section on the left at the beginning of the lap. The shortcut is now an underwater section. My favorite stage in the Gamecube MarioKart is even more awesome in this game. Amazing.

Kalimari Desert is by far the most boring stage. It was boring in the N64 game and it's equally bad now. >_>

Maple Treeway is awesome. How dare you not be to fond of it? LOL

DK Pass shortcut= up the mountain after the first rolling snowball bit, in the DS verson, there was a weird, but awesome item box up there. It should be there in the remake(because I haven't got MK7, but I do own DS, and it should be the same) so why not check it out?

DK Pass was in the DS v ersion of Mario Kart, that's the DS version of the track.

i seriously love all the Mario kart 64 tracks lol that was my favorite of all the mario kart games because it takes a lot of skill to win in that game..... on 150cc its some levels that i still can't come in first place in like Bowser's Castle! If you've never played it you should check it out!
