Mary Magdalene is the Mary that was at Jesus' tomb when it was found empty, and also is alleged to have been Jesus' wife by some, famously in the Da Vinci Code/Holy Blood, Holy Grail theories. NOT his mother! I don't think his mother's surname is ever mentioned in the Bible. But then a lot of Biblical people only have one name. Jesus doesn't have a last name mentioned either - Christ is a title not a name, it means Messiah. He's also called Jesus of Nazareth & Jesus, son of Mary.
