I find this tune reminiscent of Louie Louie and Twist and Shout. A one-four-five chord progression and very basic melody/ies.. Time counter :59 to 1:12 shows some serious "backfield motion". Very pretty girls.
I was a kid growing up in Socal during this era and it was GREAT!!! I couldn't wait to grow up but something happened and by the time I was old enough to enjoy this scene it was gone. Music turned totally plastic and so did the chicks.
If there were a time machine I'd go back to 1964 and leave in 1970, of course I would have to have been in college for the entire time or I would have been drafted. Talk about a double edge sword!
"Go, go -
Wah - wah - wah - tusi!"
The Gazzari Dancers were goddesses of go-go.
