In one way Lancer was like Bonanza, whenever one of the men--father or sons, gets involved with a woman, the writers either kill her off or she goes back home. I suppose the way to keep women interested was to keep our handsome heroes single and available! sighhh
Most of the women characters in this series just irks me - they don't deserve our boys. I liked Mattie and the other Julie, though, Scott's ex fiance.
Love this ending - my favourite part is Johnny's yell when Scott nearly hits him on the head. Nicely timed piece of action. What's wrong with this girl! Johnny offers her his heart and Lancer and she turns him down!
