Very well done! There is an immense outflow of bhaavam in the krithi and bits of technicality here and there..Just about the right proportions needed to render a shining version of this krithi!
Nothing very technical about this rendition. However, kudos to prince rama verma for bringing out the essence(bhaavam) of this raagam and the krithi itself.Sometimes, technicality tends to impede with the natural outflow of the song in my observation.Very well done!
I have heard this song sung and played a million times but noone else could bring out the sort of effect and mood Mr.Varma does. The same goes for his Endaro and Janani Ninnuvina.I wonder if it has to do with his passion for carnatic music or specifically his attention to the lyrics. The beauty of both the music and poetry is brought alive.I wouldnt say it sounds non-carnatic and yet its so refreshingly different compared to the way carnatic musicians sing nowadays. Please keep posting. Thanks
Wonderful! I have enjoyed Malis's Malavyalakin on Youtube and then yours! You were truly outstanding in this piece. Praveen was also fantastic and gave you terrific support!
