Kuja is Zidanes "brother" in the way that they were born as Genomes with souls.

Zidane was thrown to Gaia by Kuja when he was a kid, and Zidane was then raised by Baku. Leader of Tantalus. That's why.

@Badfish93 well kuja has the appearance of a 24 year old, but remember he was created as an adult, so hes most likely older, but zidane was made a baby and then grows

@MrDeathnotefan98 No, Zidane is basically Kuja's brother. They were both formed genomes by Garland. Kuja has a tail too. They're the same, but look different.

@Dimbark i know that, duh, but when kuja was made, he was an adult, zidane however was made as a baby so he could grow and become more powerful, as due to kuja being made as an adult, he couldent develop feelings like love or compassion and so he couldent go into trance (or so he thought at the time) so zidane was made as a baby to grow and develop real feelings so he would become more powerful then kuja

Something like that, Kuja was made like some kind of Angel of Death, but Zidane was made to replace him when the time comes. Garland said in the game that Zidane powers were growin up while Kuja´s ones decreaces.

Its like a big-small brother relationship.

He made a suicide attack in IX, using Ultima on both the party and himself. He falls down to Iifa tree's depths, while the party DIES. He uses last of his power to revive them and teleport to outskirts of Iifa tree.

no he didnt kuja did use ultima to try and kill them but he failed, the group wakes up and you have to chose 4 people to fight the final boss, the other characters use the las t of their strengh to heal the ones fighting. then when you win cid comes in the save everyone but zidane stays behind to save kuja. i wont spoil the rest.

many sources say he effectively killed the party and even destroyed the crystal, summoning forth Necron. However, the party kicked Necron's ass and it all resumed to the time before anything happened to the crystal, thus they also resumed alive.

the main heroine of vi is terra, the esper/human.

but in ix, terra is a place where all teh genomes (like zidane and kuja) came from.
