I got a eating disorder too.I really am overweight and everyone that sees me knows it and so do I.I have a ravenous appetite for certain foods as pizza and especially ice cream(I always put in enough so I wont get another bowl than do start thinking of another bowl before the first bowl is finished)Than eat that second bowl of ice cream.
Your poem is like so many from my journals. I also suffer from ED and SIV and as you were reading about the lies, and the suffering and the voices and all you want to do is fill THAT VOID, i just said(outloud with tears in my eyes) "i know sweetie..." i'm still trying to fill that void too, and i am here with you, and for you, on the journey to finding peace and a place where we feel safe. i send my love and blessings darling!

I've been watching your videos for a while, and before you posted this one I was considering asking you if you were a writer of some sort. Although your thoughts may seem scattered to you, you come off as intelligent and thoughtful. These poems are raw and believable...I'm sure there's more where they came from...you should share. -kat.

you inspire me so much and sometimes i wished i had the strength you had.
i've battled with eating disorders and self-harming, all due to abuse i suffered as a child.
things will get better if you have the strength to beat anything standing in your way so you can carry on.
" There is light at the end of the tunnel, and you just have to keep travelling to seek it."
- That is the best advice i've been given.
