I love Sonic to death, but this is the game that ruined his career. At least Sonic Generations saved it. What's funny is that this could have been the greatest Sonic game of all time, our Sonic Adventure 3, if not for Microsoft rushing them on getting it done before Christmas. So, if you want to blame anybody on how bad this game turned out, blame Microsoft.

Much of the Adventure team left after the original, even more left after the death of DC, and even more after the Sammy merger. What was left started work on Unleashed in 2005. They were led by Takashi Iizuka, the directer of the entire series and Heroes. Unleashed was called SA3 during development, and bears the SA label in Japan. I would argue that it's gameplay has more in common with Adventure than 2006 does.

It’s atmosphere was uniquely dark compared to SA, Heroes, Unleashed, Colors.

Cut its stomach open (but make sure it doesn't die!) and use the blood to paint a pentagram on your living room floor. Tie the sheep's limbs together and put it in the middle of the pentagram. Light a candle on every point of the pentagram and then kill the sheep. The next time you play Sonic 06, you will be able to turn into Super Sonic.

FurizankFan is definitely making sense. i know the glitches are there, but alot of them are operator error. for example, you definitely exaggerated saying you beat your controller trying to get out. just let the joystick go and move it away. and with the mid-air stopping with Chaos Boost, that wouldn't happen if you'd let go. he's seeking a target to teleport to. 'sides, get it on PS3, most of the glitches are gone. no coincidence. 360 is far overrated. i would know.

@truesonicfan163 360. i have it on 360 and a friend, PS3. way different. more the console than the game. i hunted for hours on PS3 for some glitches. failed. that aside, alot of the glitches were sought out here. exa- the loop at the beach where he fell off. it's not a glitch, he got on the loop in the wrong spot. i did notice some glitches were missing. still, other than the 360 and Elise weighing it down, this is a definite 5/5 game in my book.

Sometimes I hate it when people now said Sonic 2006 looked awful. The reason was that Sega was still experimenting with the PS3's graphical ability. The reasons why there are so many glitches is because that Sony and Microsoft wanted it released very fast, so they couldn't even smooth out the controls. They should re-release this game, it has a lot of potential and good ideas. Thumbs up if you agree!
