The entire Vancouver gig was memorable & wonderful but this performance was definitely the highlight of the night. I love it when Metric does acoustic versions of their songs, as Emily's voice shines & being able to hear this version live is an experience that I'll never, ever forget <3. Metric is a brilliant band & they make me proud to be Canadian. I hope they come back real soon.

Their acoustic versions always kick so much ass, which is why their acoustic set at the invite-only "Intimate and Interactive" show at Media Club earlier this year is still a top 2009 highlight.

I so wish I attended that. Hopefully they do something similar down the line & instead, do a show where they perform acoustic versions of all their singles. I'd love to hear a live acoustic version of Gimme Sympathy or even Dead Disco. It would be a dream come true <3.

Haha you're not a loser. I'd be so happy if my musical idol touched my hand. But this gig was definitely the best experience of my life too. When the crowd sang the "do do do" part, I got chills. Metric definitely have the greatest fans in the entire universe. Listening to Metric always makes me feel patriotic & a proud Canadian & happy to live in the greatest country in the world. I was at that show, too! I was way at the back though, but I still had a blast! Seen an old friend there as well, Man was she trashed though, so I did what every good friend does. I pointed and laughed, then helped her up when she fell down.
