She deals with layers, I don't claim to be a photoshop expert, but there is a way to make certain selections on lower layers appear on upper layers. It's all layers, I guaruntee you XD

If you are in High School (or heck, even any college) you can take New Media classes and learn about things like Photoshop and such, and learn these handy, neat little tricks.

hmmm... i think she takes a picture of a texture first. Then she puts it over the layer with the flats for the clothings and locks the layers together (put your cursor between the two layers and alt+click)

I'm not sure which effect she chooses in the video but you can change the texture layer to overlay or multiply or something to make it shine through.

pshhh... i have no idea really.

Just... look around a bit using oogle or texture sites. You can just paste the texture into your document, you don't allways have to make it a brush or someting like that...
