  • Thanks for sharing yor knowledge. Futsan style will never die.

  • i agree :D

  • can your next lesson be about chow gar drumming?

  • Thanks, this helps, but i have no clue what style my dad played, hahaha

And this sounds a little different so, its probably a different style than what my dad played, i would have asked my dad but he probably doesnt remember, i look foward to the rest of your lessons though. =]

  • very good tutorial/lesson.

    when is your next lesson?

  • when the new lion dance troop is ready w/ instruments and a complete basic routine. maybe in 4 weeks.

  • wow this is great

  • very nice, do you teach kung fu beat or viet?

  • what is kung fu beat and what is viet beat?

Kung fu martial artists adopt Futsan style to enhanced their stances. Viet ppl adopted Futsan style and Chow gar. I could do Hoksan, Futsan, Chowgar, Northern and dragon. I'm breaking the sessions down into 12 pieces.

  • I agree. Chow Gar style was brought to Vietnam by Lau Hoe Lueng, who was a student of Chow Biu. Its wonderful to see that you learn so many styles/beats. I'm very interested in learning some more beats from your upcoming sessions.

  • Vincent, at 5:30 clip is what I want you to focus on right now. For everyone in NY stick w/ beginning 7 star until u get it. Minh Quang team plz let me know how u doing. I can't wait to make the lion giving birth and modern techno hip hop lion dance =).

  • tơo long to memorize lol

  • Right now use pause and replay. I combined 11 small 1 minute clips. Next 2 weeks I'll try something better w/ one of the old team.

  • you should like polish this video up a bit. Raise the quality, and edit it more and u can make ur own How to lion dance bla bla video.

  • This is only temporary video, b/c I can't train 20s drummer at a time LOL. Tell Nhan to come learn this so u guys can move on to Hoksan beat.

next 4 to 6 weeks once I get whole set of instrument I'll update the video.

  • whoa thanks that was wonderful!
