This is not the banned version - this was shown on Top Of The Pops on the BBC - the bit that was banned was where Steve Strananges body turns to glass and get's smashed. Its only a few seconds but it's not in this video.

sadly betraying my age here, but this vid was all over tv and even on the beeb's TOTP in '81 when fade to grey was released - maybe it was banned in saudi arabia or iran or some no-fun place like that ....
