@TittyTittyBangBangXX Yeah it looks like he broke too late in the corner and locked his rear wheels. Shame really, I would have loved to see him on the podium!
his brakes went hence the spin, there was obviously something up with them as it cost him atleast 4 overtakes. going deep into turn one he tried to outbrake alesi, pulled it off and the brakes went and he had to back off. he couldnt have made that mistake 4 times. hes not deletraz
In theese days, after a mistake like this, drivers coming back to track, losing some seconds. Back then the mistake was absolutely more expensive to take... I miss old times, because f1 had a true spirit. Now it's only technology and nothing more
@IsSiauliu2 My feelings exactly... I don't even watch F1 now, but do kinda keep up with results. Very frustrating that when drivers go off, they just drive back on because of a giant tarmac car-park at each corner. And also, the cars are so reliable that if a team has 1 or 2 retirements a season, they are considered unreliable!!!
@Lexinho90 No, they weren't. Before, at the time of Senna and after, since 2005, they were beautiful. But the F310 is one of the ugliest cars i've ever seen...
@Wibbahh No the cars today look woeful, front wings too wide and rear wings too small. I would take ANY car between 1995 and 2008 and it would look better than any of todays cars.
@atomicR4GER The reason I prefer the more modern cars is because they are so much more technical and the aero packages are so much more advanced and sophisticated. I liked the ultimate-aero era 2008 spec cars the most except for the ugly, awful grooved tyres. I have never found an F1 car to be beautiful aesthetically really, the open wheel design is not particularly graceful. I don't particularly like the 2011 cars really either, but the 96 cars are too simple looking.
@darthbandon10 The car was fast but fragile over the first half of the season, then lacklustre AND fragile over the second half, coupled with Barrichello losing form as the season wore on, and the fact that he giant-killed BIG-TIME over the first 8 races to get amongst Williams, Ferraris, Benettons and McLarens.
@SchumiSutil The car was drastically improved after the first few races. Also, if the Ferrari was that crap in 96 how did Irvine outqualify and outrace Schumacher at Melbourne? He started and finished 3rd.
"how did Irvine outqualify and outrace Schumacher at Melbourne? "
Because of rear wing problem in qualifing and braking problem in race for Schumacher.
And Irvine in comparaison to Barrichello had not doing better in a Ferrari in 1996 than in a Jordan in 1995, so yes Ferrari wasn't good at all, at the Jordan level and a poor reliability.
Schumacher won in Spain 1996 because of his talent, in Spa because he's a god there and in Monza after Hill's crash.
@SchumiSutil It seems when it was working, the 96 Ferrari was at least third best. If I'm not mistaken, Williams also screwed up their pitstops in Spa 96...
@SchumiSutil Schumi took the spare car in spain, which was setup for the rain. hence he being 5 seconds a lap faster than anyone else. Don't get me wrong i'm a huge schumi fan. fucking love than man
You know, it was raining all day in Barcelona, the warm up was wet, if Schumacher was the only one with wet set up, Schumacher is the only one not being stupid.
Barrichello, after Senna is the best rider from Brazil! I remember this race ... was one of the most exciting I've ever seen! Barrichello Congratulations!!
