  • I WAS THERE....AT FILLMORE...it was actually THE CAROUSEL BALLROOM

  • page's sound is mouth watering :3

  • One must remember that this song was a staple of The Yardbirds concerts, and Robert probably wanted to distinguish himself from the version sung by Keith Relf.

  • Plant sounds lame on this song, waaaay weak.

  • @overbrookXXX You got remember this was back in 69 so Plant had fully developed what he had in the mid 70s. He was just a teenager.

  • @washpawryder Plants peak was 69-1972. His voice was at his best at 1969-1970.

  • If you want to see and hear the original rock guitarist that played the distortion licks on this song 1956.(covered by this group and others).Search-Paul Burlison..Go down to-Rock and Roll Trio-Part Three..second song..then go to the original cut in 1956..Johnny Burnette..Train Kept Rollin

  • @dburlison1

I've never heard of using search either. I just press related videos until something interesting comes up!

  • i wwant live 9.07.1968!!!!

  • Aerosmith and Led Zeppelin both have great songs, both have songs that are complete shit too, shut the fuck up and enjoy the fucking rock n roll, because there is a lot of shit worse than both of them.

  • Yes.

  • I'm confussed why are Led Zepplin & aerosmith in the same conversation? I'm not even a led zeplin fan but come on aerosmith is alot of crappy songs with a few good ones spinkled in. aerosmith is infereor ( sp) in ever way: Vocals Robert Plant the prototype for a heavy metal singer; Drums: efein Bohnam enough said. guitar ; Jimmy Page, yeah Jimmy Page . All that said MOTORHEAD FOREVER !

  • @joseacoca You don't mention JPJ - therefore you fail. And I would never consider plant a Metal singer.

  • I'm REALY SORRy (I mean it!) but this sounds like crap

  • I am an enormous Zep fan, but I actually prefer Aerosmith's version, and I don't really like Aerosmith that much.

  • @Acertainfurrysomeone but regardless steven tyler has a boring voice whereas robert plants voice is the most amasing ever

  • check out my response^ same tune, great chase footage

  • aerosmith mil veces mejor

    " moda "

  • The Aerosmith version is way better

  • Bilbo536 ashbadabada should learn that Led Zeppelin are the true rockers, and that they are better than Aerosmith.

  • Adamwiesner,it's your opinio, but you need to argument please ;).

Beacause,if zep is overrated, stones and nirvana are?

    Ho yes,a big shit ^^

  • plus, what the fuck is plant doing in this song?

  • most over rated band in the world

  • @adamwiesner1 lemme guess, your a huge beatles fan arnt you? Rolling Stones? whatever buddy

  • @GranDrJ Hey, I'm a huge Beatles fan. and Led Zeppelin fucking Rock. We're not all entitled douches.

  • That fellow is nt able to sing dude.....!!!wats wrong with him..

  • @ashbadabada Sounds like Plant's voice has gone out on him completely- either overworked it or he has a headcold....But yeah, his voice is just shot - he seems to be doing a lot of vamping to get thru it...

  • Aerosmith kicked Zep's ass on this song. Nice attempt though.

  • aerosmith is a thousand times better

  • @silas000000 LMAOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO

  • @dookiebowser Gonzo!

  • well i think that, Aerosmith and led zeppelin are good but in this song Aerosmith is better

  • @tiguer55 Still, not better than yardbirds i think.

  • God I wish the audio quality was better.

  • Aerosmith can't touch Zeppelin, has anyone listened to " I don't wanna miss a thing", enough said, Aerosmith hasn't been good in over 20 years

  • @quadleaf95 get out of here troll we don't want your kind here

  • @aaronius4444 sorry just my opinion but if you still think Aerosmith is quality music than I feel pretty sorry for you... you troll

  • I hear the aerosmith version and think "This could be better", then I hear this. And I no longer have that feeling.

  • There are no comparisons to led zep, they have/are the most influential rock band on many a generation.

Guess who saw then at knebworth `79 :P

  • Johny Burnette's Version is still the best

  • 2 words... HOLY SHIT!

  • Whos Song Is This Origonally

  • @Zcecchine54

Written by Tiny Bradshaw in '51 as a swing/big band song, pretty cool. Best version is Jonny Burnette's rock a billy version in '56.

  • Great post.

  • What a bunch of fuckin nonsense! They absolutely raped this song! Long Live Johnny Burnette !

  • @RhythmAndSoul59

And Burnette "raped" Tiny Bradshaw's version, right?

Though, I think Burnette is hands down one of the best Rock a Billy artists ever and his Train song is the best.

  • I was at this show...cool....

  • @7734Duke hey so was i, did you know during the lemon song, taht 43 girls got an orgasim.

  • Only Seems Right

  • @7734Duke Lucky bastard

  • I don't know what you're all talking about Presence is awesome, personally i think Physical Graffiti is OVERrated, certainly no better as a whole than Presence, almost every song on the second disc runs out of steam halfway through and a couple are just uninteresting (with 3 exceptions). Presence on the other hand is great the whole way through (except Royal Orleans doesn't really go anywhere despite how cool the riffs are)

  • Best version of this EVER.... I went from Yardbirds version to this, what difference..

  • long live zeppelin even their covers rock

  • actually, some of their best songs were covers.

  • early zep is the best zep. thats right Brownstone94!! I said it. You are probably out there policing the comments section, making it safe for the remaining members of the band or something so iam ready for another enlightening response.........unlcle fucker.

  • No actually i dont police the comment section I just like to reply to people who think zep sucked after physical cuz thats just stupid

  • @MrBS1994 there were no more good ALBUMS after physical. this is unrelated, but it was really great to see gnr and the rest of the glams get steam rolled by the boys from seattle. a cleansing of sorts

  • yea grunge is great...Oo and its ur opnion but u have to agree with me on this...Music is so sad today that you can take presence led zeppelin at there worst(i know its there worst but keep reading) and they still dominate any album that comes out today am i right or am i right?

  • @brownstone94..yeah man, todays music totally sucks sack. late zep is better than most current stuff

  • @MrBrownstone1994 It might be a matter of personal taste, but I think In through the Out Door was their worst (though Led Zeppelins worst is still quite good).

  • @zoekozoeko Coda is easily the worst.

  • @Blink182plus44equ226 no coda had every unrealesed recorded song, in through the out door was horrible

  • @steffsweet45 you are easily not a zeppelin fan, becuase they had 0 horrible albums. coda wasnt meant to be a great album, thats why they didnt release the songs on it originally. in through the out door was a great album, and it ended a legacy, so if your gonna tell me that it was horrible, stop listening to zeppelin all together

  • @SixStringMelodies what i ment jackass is its horrible to thier other albums so shove that up your ass and break it off

  • @steffsweet45 its not horrible to their other albums at all, its actually one of their better ones.

  • @SixStringMelodies not so much, alot was wrong with the band at the time with all the excess, if it was say 1972 and they recorded the album then i think the focus would have been better, even page is embarassed about in through the out door

  • @steffsweet45 i read a biography on jimmy page, he said he felt that it was a solid end to the zeppelin career. where did you find that he was embarassed?

  • @SixStringMelodies a zeppelin book that had jimmy and jones involved, the reason they put a brown bag over the cover is cause they werent impressed but maybe it was just the start of the 80's era but then shit happened

  • @steffsweet45 the reason there was bags over the cover was because there was 6 different covers, each of a different veiw point of 6 individuals at a bar. The idea was that it was meant to be a suprise as to which Album cover you got.

  • @ZACfromSCB well fine then i was told differently, zeppelin is just mysterious

  • @MrBrownstone1994 yeah you're right, and that's an understatement, by the way I thought In Through The Out Door was their weakest CD

  • @quadleaf95 Yea I think their weakest is the original release of Coda But that remasterd version on CD in 1991 is awsome because it has hey hey what can I Do and baby come on home and stuff but the original one doesnt so i say the original coda release in 82 is their weakest.... but yea i dont like carouselaramba or im gonna crawl i think they could of maybe wrote some harder rock songs instead of those

  • @MrBrownstone1994 And gone swallowed by crappy Heavy Metal? They had Real musical diversity, and that's what made them great. Zep got big cause HM was new to the world when they played it - by late '70s it was near mainstream. They had to change direction to be what they were - Innovators.

  • Zeppelin rocks completely...........however Page and Plant seemed fine with coping a lot of licks, entire tracks, and words to which they never gave any credit for when they recorded and pressed. Kinda thought nobody on their side of the pond would notice i guess. I still remember the first time i heard dazed and confused......wow !!!

  • @stonerbudkap oh yeh zeppelin sure got boring fast they only realeased songs like rock and roll, black dog, when the levee breaks, stairway to heaven, over the hills and far away, kashmir, the ocean, houses of the holy,in the light, fool in the rain, all of my love, the rain song, thats the way, tangerine, out on the tiles, immigrant song, houses of the holy, misty mountain hop, trampled under foot and many more after 1969...YEAH!!! it got pretty boring...

  • Comment removed

  • physical grafiti was the last good album

  • i say ittod was pretty good too

  • @tsugacanadensis77 are u stupid...presence was a underrated but fan-fuckin-tastic album producing songs like nobodys fault but mine, achillies last stand, for your life, royal oreleans..and in through the out door... that was so HORRIBLE!! (im joking) it only had songs like fool in the rain, all of my love, hot dog and one of my fav zep tunes In the evening.

  • @MrBrownstone1994 be serious. presence was not underrated. it was a filler album to keep zep going in a time of hardship. only 3 good tracks

    achilles last stand

    nobody's fault but mine

    tea for one

    the rest was filler

  • @Matthew9444 dude thats just opinion cuz my fav zep song would have to be hots for nowhere or royal oreleans...so u saying theres only 3 GOOD tracks is complete bowlshit to many people but the tracks u named are very good...U cant really say there are any bad zep tunes

  • @MrBrownstone1994 true, there are no "bad" tunes but i dont think most in presencewere very good

    we can agree to disagree

  • hell yeah! :D

  • NOT BAD FOR 1969!~

  • I love Plant's voice from 1969... he's too whiny after that, still good tho

  • Aerosmith has not done anything remotely interesting since 1980 .( Niether has Zeppelin, but at least they have an excuse.)

  • what about big ones that was a great album in 1987

  • big ones is a greatest hits

  • But Jimmy thinks that Aerosmith rocks, and Aerosmith is a fan of Zeppelin.

  • aerosmith is a thousand times better

  • @abrahamlincoln0900

    that doesnt mean anything

  • @abrahamlincoln0900 Coda was good in 82

  • Hanoi Rocks also has cover of this song

  • I like Aerosmith's studio version of this song but I've heard a few boots with excellent recording quality of Zeppelin doing this live and they were unbelievably good. Go find one, I promise you Zeppelin's more explosive and powerful. It's kind of like a micro comparison of the two bands, Aerosmith is a great rock band, while Led Zeppelin was the greatest band that ever stepped on a stage. The sound quality on this particular version is pretty poor.

  • aerosmith is awesome but

LED ZEPPELIN IS BETTER AND WILL ALWAYS BE,

and led zeppelin covered this MUCH MUCH BETTER

  • aerosmith has never done anything close to zeppelin.

  • @AAAAAAAAbsolutely101 they're completely different bands i dont see why people compare em all the time

  • @AAAAAAAAbsolutely101 do u no wut aerosmiths nickname is? the greatest american rockband, they're twice as god as zeppelin

  • @funnythings10000 lmao that's the most ridiculous statement ever. Led Zeppelin is arguably the greatest band of all time. They have a top 5 singer, a top 2 guitarist, a top 2 bassist, and the best drummer of all time. how dare you compare Aerosmith to Led Zeppelin. No wonder your name is funnythings

  • @AAAAAAAAbsolutely101 music is all relative he can think Aerosmith is better if he wants to, Aerosmith is pretty bad ass too, even if I do agree that Led Zeppelin is better

  • they don`t suck ... they`re just not compare to Led Zeppelin ... heh

  • i dont care for aerosmith. is that better lol

  • yes.

  • agree!

  • Sweet...........sounds improv. Made up, just going typical freestyle feel..CLASSIC

  • i agree with ya mate

  • This is great never heard their version of this song

its better than aerosmiths and old yardbirds put together :D

  • they actually played it a lot :) too bad they didnt include a version on any album..

  • no its not.its actually after the yardbirds but for aerosmith i dunno.

  • i know it's way better

  • This version's ok for me but it sounded quite messed up. I like this but I prefer the Aerosmith's version more.

  • i can honestly say bonzo was the greatest ever and thats some big shoes to fill....

  • bonham!

  • LISTEN TO BONZO'S DRUMMING! DAMN!
