  • nuuuuussssssssss sera q o cara toca!!kkkkkkkk

    toca muito ehhh!!

  • Learn something as from today to all of you:

    Music has no frontier

  • if you are a musician and love music, why cant you just set aside your egos and negative comments and enjoy the music! :) You could be christian, muslim, hindu, buddhist, atheist, mormon, scientologist for all i care... it does NOT matter; this is such an awesome music, and such comments dont even belong here. so please..

    cheers!

  • I'm a worship leader and know plenty of crappy musicians...some have been on my worship teams. Xians just seem to think, especially in the church, they should be able to be on a worship team because of their "heart" and not necessarily their ability. Xian or not, God gives ability to believers and non alike. If you think Christians are the best musicians, you obviously don't listen to christian music very much. It's pretty much an embarrassment.

  • what,s the name of the song please?

  • @PetrKrajnak

    Hi,

The name of the song is "Doxology" and you can find it on the CD : Abe Laboriel and Friends "Live in Switzerland" (2005)

Respect for this great bassist and composer

    Fretlessjo

  • estes dois são os verdadeiros fenomenos da musica

  • Excellent musical work . God bless you all

  • I´m sorry... who is playing the flute???? jejeje

  • that is a weird looking bass guitar! what kind is it?

  • Vinny is obviously not a musician. He doesn't understand the time, effort, and sacrifice that ALL musicians devote to the perfection of their craft. Research continues to disprove the common myths associated with talent and innate ability; nobody is born with the ability to play great music or has any more potential then anyone else. Top performers spend exponentially more time in practice than others and that is what "qualifies" them to play great music.

  • @vinnymilanni - Interestingly, a real Christian would take for granted that ANY musician's passion is coming from God, whether that musician identifies himself as Christian or not. Right? So I'll go on and happily play my atheistic music, knowing that even if my beliefs are totally wrong, I'll be loved by "Him" despite the error of my ways. ;-)

  • @rpguitar If you're not a real Christian, how the f**k do you know what one would say?

All musical passion comes from God the way all sexual passion comes from God. Does it? Of course. Does that mean that you're being holy when you're using someone, or worse, raping someone? Don't be ridiculous. We have the awful power to distort what God originates, and most of us do -- with music as with sex.

All you're doing is making an ignorant excuse for doing whatever you want.

  • ONe I time I was playing at a big "miracles" conference; afterwards this crazy lady came up and asked me to touch her sons hands to transfer the anointing. I then told her to go buy Future sounds by David Garibaldi, then he would play that way!! It's all in the work you put in, spiritual or not. come on people!

  • Wish the production quality was much better. This was ecstatically wonderful!! Loved it, loved it, loved it!!!

  • The Easter Bunny gave me mad supernatural skills. That's why I never have to practice.

  • Amazing. :D

  • awesome really passionate musicians whether christian or not this is why we play to express whats in our hearts=)

  • Nice!! Back than- good times when Koinonia played.

    Best regrds from Poland,

    Blessings..

  • excelente...

  • Hey, guys!

Does anybody what is the title of this song?

    Many thanks in advance...

  • If im not mistaken, the title of the song is Waterwings. Check out their live performance in Switzerland. The album is Abe Laboriel and Friends: Live in Switzerland. This song is included in that album. The musicians are, Abe Laboriel-bass, Tom Brooks-keys, Paul Jackson Jr.-Guitar & Vinnie Colaiuta-drums. God bless!

  • my mistake... the title of the song is Doxology (Al Dios de Bondad).

  • the drummer is Alvaro Lopez Jr, from Mexico.

They are all christians, Paul, Abe and Alvaro, another reason to say that christian musicians are the best in the world....! :-D Glory to God! He give us supernatural skills!!!! :-D

  • no im sorry christian musicians arent more qualified than any other musician. that kind of thinking started the crusades

  • @MrBlue707 During so may years I was a hard core christian and hey, I remember how they push this idea into ur mind that "christian musicians are the best in the world" and u believe it because "playing that well is a supernatural thing" so my friend, don't even bother arguing with this people, they will just look down on you because "you are not a son of God". Let them be happy with their beliefs and let's enjoy the musicianship of these greats :)

  • @darthvera Just wanna say that no, you don't have to be a Christian to be highly skilled in music or anything else. Since we're tied to this world as humans, we're going to have our limitations. One of those is the fact we have to learn everything we endeavor in except sex. I've heard secular musicians I would love to emulate over any Christian, with the exception of these two gentleman, Paul and Abe. I think he's a Christian but another would be Dennis Chambers. . .

  • This is not alvaro lopez jr.

  • bellissimo!

  • What a phenomenal drummer..

  • non si commenta si ascolta shhhh

  • bellissimo che grandi

  • that is emmannuelle cervantes he is from west covina,ca and abe laboriel jr. is the son the the older gentleman playing bass here abe laboriel sr. and he is a legend at the instrument enjoy kiddos!!

  • Thats not eman fooorrr sure!!

  • whose the drummer?

  • could be curt bisquera.. too blurry to know for sure, but looks like him.

  • I thought curt bisquera played dw...

  • That appears to be Loboriel Jr. (not sure of his first name) a phenominal drummer.

  • Tom Dante

  • I think is Alvaro Lopez

  • Once I saw Laboriel playing live here in Brazil. He is simply a incredible bass player, he is so original. Congratulations to this musicians!

  • Dxology

  • Ay Padre, k emocion mas bonita al oir esos instrumentos sonando con tal espiritu :'(

    Gloria al Padre!!!!

  • quien es el drummer?

  • paul jackson you are my favorite guitar player.

you play from your heart... keep on

  • Just saw Abe and Paul Jackson Jr with Tom Brooks on keys and Carl Albrecht on skins - what a tremendous experience! Abe was totally on fire - they performed this song, but Abe's solo went on for about 5 minutes, with Abe all over the stage! He was hitting every note - plucking, then slapping, then just plain spanking sweet sound out of it - and then it was Paul's turn - and he (although less energetically) continued the mind-blowing musical experience! Carl and Tom were tops too, but no room ...

  • Yo tuve la oprotunidad de compartir con abe, hace unos meses, exc persona y un musico formidable...

  • Sensacional! A melhor versão está no cd "Live in Switzerland"

  • This Sounds Like Brazilian Song's

  • sweet! abe is using one of his old classic basses he used alot during the 70's!

  • If I am seeing it correctly, that's the first bass guitar he acquired, and yes, used it on many of his early sessions. Neat to see him playing it again (and still sounding awesome)!

  • Yes, that's his Goya bass... the one he would refer to as his "Sears & Robuck" bass!! lol No one like Abe!!!!

  • Wow! Abe Is All Gray!!! Time Does Fly Huh?

I Could Listen To These Guys All Night & Day!

  • thanks.

  • who's the drummer?

  • Drummer was Tom Dante. I was playing the flute and out of the picture the whole time - too funny. These guys are always a major blessing to play with!!

    gvSAXBOY

  • I was there. I love these guys. Loved Abe for years from Koinania and more.

I have the Live from Switzerland on my iPOD - HOT

  • Cool man. Wish the video did these guys justice. The sound kinda sucks, but you know it was really cool!

    gvSAXBOY
