HA!.... junk is all that is. a right angle bend blocking the exaust held togather by a shitty weld and is too short is not tuned! pour some gas on it, light it, and then push over cliff. not because of backpressure, but because the valve will cool down to quickly with out the exhaust to keep it warm, and the valve will work.

ive run lawnmowers without exhausts for extended amounts of time. but i have heard of burning valves from bad exhaust leaks in cars. maybe if it was very cold out you could burn a valve with this mower

cool, but i have a honda pushmower and one of the screws must have fell out of the muffler so thers on one screw holding it in the right place. But i can see a crack between the muffler port on the head and the muffler. will i still be able to run the mower without messing up anything>> Thanks to who ever helps me with my question! xD

If you want power you should try fooling with cars or lawnmower racing - not pushmowers. STP is a fuel stabilizer that keeps the carb from gumming up during long storage periods and keeps your fuel from going bad - it doesn't add power at all - niether does a 'tuned custom exhaust' - I could've pulled that feat off with a sawzall and a screwdriver...

i know, a frind of mine tried this on a dirt bike and it did have more power because it burns hotter. Its prob not good for engine, and its not a lot of gain, but its something.

i meant he mixed half stp fuel injector cleaner with half gasoline. That was all he did and the thing had more power for that tank only. Not anything major, but it was noticeable. He didnt change backpressure or anything else on the thing.

Fuel injector cleaner is 60% or so methyl alcohol - octane booster is cheaper and works better in some respects...

The Open exhaust burning valves is all bullshit , What burns Valves up is to tight clearence on tappet and or carbon lodged under the vlave holding it open , If the valve shuts completly to cool as it hits the seat it wont burn up , Christ how many big rigs are out their running 1 million miles and havent burnt a valve yet with no mufflers
