I kept looking for the rest of the clip when they cut Heather off just as she started to actually dialogue about the ethical implications of blogging about her child. I think what I dislike the most is that Kathie Lee looks disinterested -- you even see her looking at the camera for an instant almost like she isn't listening to Heather's conversation. She shifts her legs and generally does not look as if her mind is even on the story.

I agree with pinkpowersuit's comments. Heather Armstrong definitely writes better than she speaks. If I hadn't known better, I wouldn't have known this woman is the same woman behind dooce. There's definitely nothing impress about her speaking abilities or her verbal communication. Kudos to her for cashing in on the web site now, as it won't last forever, I'm sure. By the time her daughter hits 9 or 10, she'll start getting teased at school about her life (and poop) habits being posted online.

Kathie Lee voiced what a lot of people fear about blogging. I have been blogging since 1997, and have been criticized for what I write. The truth is, when you blog you DO make info. available to millions & millions of people. Not just your neighbors or people in stores, but the entire world--criminals included. Would I post photos of my kids? Probably not...the thought of a pedophiles "getting off" to photos of my children makes me nauseous just thinking about it.
