My take is the same. Smith was one tough guy and a hard puncher with much heart. Remember, Smith KO'd Tim Witherspoon in 1. He can HIT!
And in this fight, Smith had his moments, but the announcers are creating drama that just didn't exist. Holmes dominated this fight.
But clearly his skills had diminished with age, and this should have been a sure sign for him that it was time to retire.
