Killing isn't neccessary anymore, but causing it major pain and mental deficit from seeing it's children die is more painful than dying itself. Just look how the caretakers handle the fishes, how they puncuture it's stomach to get the caviar ... they are seeing their eggs stolen right out of their stomach. I reccomend you kill the fishes, but just don't overfish them.
interesting vid, although I doubt that this is the future face of caviar. (I have serious doubts that the WWF would like it.) There have been atempts with similar techniques in the past with very little success. I have been told that the sturgoeon releases some sort of hormon when under stress which influcences the taste of caviar in a negative way.
sturgen caviar is no different from most other fish eggs.Its just the human mind that thinks its better.when the sturgen is wiped out.then they will say another fishes eggs are better.rich people are in essence stupid.
