@kjvjay As a Mormon I believe that my Heavenly Father, is a real and actual being who knows me personally and loves and cares about me. We believe that before we came to this earth we lived as spirits in heaven all together, we also believe that lucifer was one of the those spirits that he was one of our brothers but he wanted the glory of God to be his so we banished him. Our church is either true or its not. I know it's true because I visited other churches and prayed. Maybe you should too.

You are correct that this is from Mormon beliefs, but it is their wording that makes it untrue. "Star base, Kolbo"? Is this, Star Treck? If you look up 'The God Makers', Mr. Decker and Mr. Baer were devorced from their wives. They clearly blamed the church for their divorce, though people get divorces all the time for many reasons. I believe this video was made with anger and malicious feelings in a desire to paint the church in a bad light.
Joseph Smith, Brigham Young and the succession of Mormon prophets and leaders made up what is depicted in this video. In Mormonism KOLOB is a real place. Pearl of Great Price, Abraham Ch. 3 verse 9, “KOLOB is set nigh unto God’s throne…” J Smith preached that the Mormon god is an exalted man and Mormons may become gods. B Young preached Mormons had to enter into polygamy to become gods, even sons of god. Decker and Baer did not make any of this stuff up. It is all pure Mormonism.

@certainlytruthful - All religions have liberals, moderates, conservatives and extremists. He seems to be fairly moderate imo. They believe they are Christians, I don't really think we get anywhere trying to analyze that to much further. I don't believe his religion is true, but I don't think it would be any more prohibitive to the position than any of the religions of other presidents.
I grew up in a city whose population was mostly Mormon. If you weren't Mormon you were an outsider. As a young teenager amongst many Mormon teenage boys I can attest to their aggressive behaviour. They repeatedly bullied and belittled me and my friends who weren't Mormon. Those Mormons who I did hang out with enjoyed killing and torturing small animals. They used to take baby pigeons out of their nests and huck them against a brick wall and laugh as their parents flew around helplessly.

The problem I have is that in this area a large amount of Mormons were terrifyingly sociopathic. The teenage boys would go to downtown and club the drunk natives who slept in the park. They'd do this with baseball bats and hockey sticks. Meanwhile the Mormon run local police would do little about it. The town was Lethbridge
@shortminute Sure, I'm not in any way denying that there are bad mormons, the story about clubbing the natives and doing things to the baby birds are absolutely horrible. Just saying from my experience, you find bad people everywhere. Widespread abuse of Children in the Catholic church has been well reported in the media. 9/11 was done by Muslims. The IRA was made up of Protestants who wanted to kill people for being Catholic. Every group has jerks of varying degrees.

This is all true! The LDS have always tried to keep these doctrines secret.
Mormons don't fully believe in the Bible; yet missionary's use the Bible as a tool to lure new converts. That's pretty much the only time they're required to read & quote from it. Once someone becomes a convert, they slowly become indoctrinated, then all these secretes & bizarre beliefs are revealed. But by then it's too late! For fear of the elders, humiliation and judgement prevent most from leaving the church.

Now my many sins are covered with the blood of Gods sacrificial lamb which makes me righteous in Gods sight. When I die I will go to heaven to be with God for eternity and will forever thank Him for taking my place on the cross and paying for my redemption. It is personal between HE and me. Out of curiousity, I read the Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price, and Doctrine of the Covenants years ago. This video seems to teach the same things that I read in those books. That is u you have to be careful when Mormons say they believe in Jesus & that He "was crucified for our salvation too." If you look up 'The God Makers', Mr. Decker and Mr. Baer were devorced from their wives. They clearly blamed the church for their divorce, though people get divorces all the time for many reasons. I believe this video was made with anger and malicious feelings in a desire to paint the church in a bad light.

I grew up in a city whose population was mostly Mormon. If you weren't Mormon you were an outsider. As a young teenager amongst many Mormon teenage boys I can attest to their aggressive behaviour. They repeatedly bullied and belittled me and my friends who weren't Mormon. Those Mormons who I did hang out with enjoyed killing and torturing small animals. They used to take baby pigeons out of their nests and huck them against a brick wall and laugh as their parents flew around helplessly.

This is all true! The LDS have always tried to keep these doctrines secret.
Mormons don't fully believe in the Bible; yet missionary's use the Bible as a tool to lure new converts. That's pretty much the only time they're required to read & quote from it. Once someone becomes a convert, they slowly become indoctrinated, then all these secretes & bizarre beliefs are revealed. But by then it's too late! For fear of the elders, humiliation and judgement prevent most from leaving the church.

Jesus Christ (according to the New Testament: Matthew 23) came and died for the sins of mankind in order to free them of the "bound" ties to God in the old covenant. Now my many sins are covered with the blood of Gods sacrificial lamb which makes me righteous in Gods sight. When I die I will go to heaven to be with God for eternity and will forever thank Him for taking my place on the cross and paying for my redemption. It is personal between HE and me. Out of curiousity, I read the Book of Mormon, Pearl of Great Price, and Doctrine of the Covenants years ago. This video seems to teach the same things that I read in those books. That is u you have to be careful when Mormons say they believe in Jesus & that He "was crucified for our salvation too." Mormons have a totally different view than traditional Christianity of who Jesus was & what He did.
