  • Your work is great, but I am missing the "How to"!

Do you have a video to show How you make the flowers? How you shaped the teapot? How you made any of the characters? That would be greatly appreciated!

  • You are really talented. Do you have plans to do tutorials on the beautiful cakes u made. I hope u share u talent with us all the people love u cakes :)

  • u r AMAZIIIIINGGGGG

  • your work is ALWAYS fantastic! this is just another of your works of art! Im DEFinitely gonna try this cake!

  • You are really talented. I've followed all your works since the bee cake and they're all lovely. I love all your tutorials. Thanks for sharing your skills. Do you have plans to do a tutorial on the flowers you create? They're all so lovely.

  • this is absolutely facinating. It's great for kids yet it still has a sophisticated feel to it.

By the way, was the first tier base made of cake or was it an angled board (I'm talking about the bottom tier where its tilted..the one above the numerous flowers. If so, How did you get it angled and make it stay that way without moving?

  • Thanks :) The base of the first tier-- which was made to look like a hat --is also cake board. between that and the real bottom cake board was a styrofoam wedge-- hidden with flowers and fondant sheets. I glued the wedge and i even nailed it to be secure. For the base cake board, it is ok to nail it since no food touches it... but for the upper tiers, it all has to be secured with dowels and fondant glue.

  • Thanks for the reply. That was a great help for future projects! I'm tlling you... YOU ARE AMAZING! I have a few questions to ask you, hopefully you can answer some =] I'll send it to your inbox due to the character amount of youtube comments (it has a limit of 500 characters.) THANKS ONCE AGAIN!

  • My son is a fan of yo!gabba, gabba. Your cake is so cute. I really admire how you designed this beautiful cake.

Did you use a special cutter for the name?

  • Mayen....I hope u are taking ALOT of photos of your creations because u are trully an artist!!!! So beautifull and so creative!!!

  • Hi Mayen! I love this cake! And I'm pretty sure my daughter will too! hahaha I had the same thoughts on Yo Gabba Gabba before.... Now I love them cause my daughter adores them! hahaha

  • Hi Mayen. What a beautiful cake - the soft colours go so well together. I have never heard of yo gabba gabba so I don't know those characters, but they are soooo cute!!

  • beautiful as usual hon!!! 5 stars for you :)

    Thanks for sharing

  • Hi mayan, your cake is so...neat and looks so proffetional.

  • Hi! I'm new to all this, are the gumpaste characters edible? You are absolutely fantastic! I love all of your cakes! God bless you :)

  • thank you :) everything you see on the cake is made of gumpaste or fondant...so it's all edible :) will someone eat it? not likely... but it is an excellent keepsake if they choose to keep it... when gumpaste dries, it lasts for a long long time ( as long as it is kept free from moisture )

  • Mayen! The cake is beautiful! You did a wonderful job with the gumpaste flowers and the caketoppers are very cute! Another masterpiece! :)

  • its beautiful!!!!!!! great job!

  • how much did you charge for this? I'm just getting into cake deco. and I have no idea what cakes are going for!
