@ps100vs2 Yea... that's true. She first said we should stop talking. Then she wanted to stay in touch which had become impossible by then. My gf didnt say anything but wouldnt have wanted that. Equally importantly, my friend still had strong feelings. So there was no other go.. Once I was in her situation with another girl and it turned out to be very good for me when the girl stopped talking to me. I have no grudge with her cause it was the only go. I do hope my friend realizes it's good.

I honestly think you could one day become a professional lyricist. You do have pretty remarkable writing skills. You'll need to work on your melodies a bit, they're not bad, but they're not "wow" either. Also, use known formulas: (A-B-A-B-C-B being the most used for country/pop/rock) they exist for a reason. You have a very nice singing voice as well, which is a big plus. I'm looking forward to hearing more from you. Best of luck!
