Ohh man, I love this game so much! I played the hell out of Dark Forces when I was a wee lad; in fact I think I picked it up well before Doom. Seeing this really brings me back; thank you sir!
damn it all George Lucas. why did you have to make it so that we HAVE to wait for the beginning story summary to be a mile away before we can even watch the movie/play the game?

I'll be watching the whole thing anyway :D at least the sound isn't ear-rape lol. Are you running this from the original disc using DOSbox, or did you mount a digital copy of the disc that has been downloaded and then used DOSbox? I really want to play this again, but I lost the disc years ago =\ so techniqually it is still legal for me to download it if I already have a copy laying about somewhere lol

sorta... you have Auto Aim, basically if you point any gun in a specific direction, it should shoot straight, and its well gayy that you don't have the pageup/down keys, otherwise it would be soooo much easier no?
personally, i think its superior to doom, and yes i know it was based off of the doom engine, BUT the multiple wall adjoining, and multiple floor levels is fantastic. having said that, it doesn't really have the atmosphere that doom has, Until you get raped by Kell Dragons on lvl10 *shudders*

lol, what a shame. The punch is one of the reasons it looks like Doom. It'd be good if someone made their own version of this game with lots of gore and light sabers :)

Yeah, I use the recording tool with DOSBox, and then make a clip with Windows Movie Maker.
You mean Adobe Premiere? Is it good?

@Demorior movie maker is basics, adobe premieres the usual thing you get with computers of more control but also takes longer to master too

only in a handful of situations yeah, it's very doom ish where it will still hit enemies above or below directly ahead of you x.x

Well that's where dark forces 2 comes in... still not much gore though. I guess star wars doesn't like gore lol
