This is my favorite dive...I would probably like the Keys better if I lived there and had a boat but this is cheap, close and very very great place to dive. I love looking up at the logs and just being at peace.
*****WE LOST A CAMERA AT BLUESPRINGS STATE PARK IN ORANGE CITY FLORIDA ON 4/17/2011. IT IS A JVC MINI CAMCORDER INSIDE OF A 3INCH PIECE OF PIPE WITH A RED CAP ON THE END OF IT. IF FOUND PLEASE CONTACT US 386-804-1224!REWARD!*****
@jake8384 It used to be clear blue water, then a housing community by the spring tapped it with a well to provide water to the houses around there. Now it's fucked
i cain wait im going there today with my youuth group lol im up its like almost 7 am lol they ar picking us up at 8 and we will stay until close cain wait
Be careful there at Blue Springs... While the Cavern there does offer a "inviting" and controlled environment, that flow to a open water diver not trained in cave diving can cause you to get into quite a predicament. Please head the "No lights rule" if you are not cavern/cave certified. Nice video.
It is just north of Orlando off I-4 and just south of Daytona Beach. It is exit 111 off I-4. Use Google maps and search for "Blue Springs State Park, United States"
@dlopez8a I just came from there today! My first time..the water was cooolde at first but I got used to it. I fought the current and waded upstream to the spring then floated down to where we could climb out and do it all over again. Thena a picnic under a tree near that old house. Good times.
Went today for the first time and i loved it! Will be back again!
