I find it poignant and profound when the little boy looks to his mother while referencing his step mom saying, "Mommy. If you want me to hate her I will."

No one can replace a Mom or Mother. And no one should be taught to hate or turned on someone a child loves. It's very sad that this happens daily to innocent loving kids and step mothers. It's a crime and someday will be deemed child abuse in all 50 states.

1. She is a younger, VERY physically attractive woman.

2. She marries a much older, pretty financially successful man.

No, she wasn't spoiled, bratty, and a bitch like some are. I am just stewing because I see it in my own family. But yes, due to what a mentioned above, I have to say she is somewhat of a trophy wife. And I saw the movie. It was so sad it gave me nightmares.
