i went here last week for a few days, got express tickets and went on furius baco x5, dragon x3, stampida x3 all in 1 day and several other rides except there was no express on the hurkan condor so i didnt bother.. no i wish i did bother..

This park is amazing as is this ride...wen i went on it i was on a sit down version, however the seats tilted forward aswel so it was alot more thrilling

I love Condor! Favourite drop tower in the world too, Giant Drop at Siam Park City is a close second though :P But Hurakan Condor, at night, Stand-up floorless, is pretty much a to-die-for experience :)

@rimboruler Don't get me wrong, I often struggle to choose between Alton Towers and Thorpe Park as the UK's best theme park. Thorpe Park is a world-class park, kinda reminds me of a mini Six Flags Great Adventure or something, leaving that aside, PortAventura is unique in it's own right, so is Alton Towers. It jsu thas something different to any park in the world, thats why I prefer PortAventura :) And no worries mate my pleasure :D

Not a chance mate.Been to portaventura and it just ain't got the real good rides Thorpe have or are having.Come March with Thorpe's new wing coaster Swarm and another coaster in 2014 Thorpe will be one of the worlds top coaster parks to go to

@billyrae1000 It's getting better, but I don't think any of Thorpes coasters match up to PortAventura's, the amount of detail and effort put into these rides is outstanding. And as an overall theme park, Thorpe remains pretty standard (average theming, cluttered rides everywhere, just for thrills) whereas PortAventura has really been thought out. You could say the same about this park, they're building a 270ft Hyper coaster just this minute, it's going to be the tallest in Europe!

yes,this is much more scarier than it looks.I went on this 9times in 3days (10/2009) because there was like 3 people in the park and no queue !:D I'll NEVER forget the very first second of drop the first time i did it. i wasnt expecting that at all. It is horrible,it really feels like you're falling from a building or whatever,you can not even scream.But oh my god it is excellent.Went back on it 8 times:D

But you better do it in the standing up position seats,the seating ones arent that scary.

There are 5 sides. 3 have sit-down seats and the other 2 have stand-up seats. This video was from on the stand-up side.

@Hazzahop Yes, there are several sides, two are sitting down, two are standing up. However, 2 of them tip over, before you drop, so you are facing the floor :D i chose the standing up flipping over one lol

absolutley amazing ride .. god, doesn't look lik it, but when you get to the top, you can see like the whole of salou and cambrils and ALL the surrounding areas, if you were facing the other way, you would see barce :)

Being on bot Giant Drop at Dream World and this, I still favour Hurakan Condor. Giant Drop is enourmous - But it lacks features that Hurakan has. Firstly, Hurakan has stand-up floorless and tilting seats, Giant Drop doesn't have either. Hurakan has amazing theming whereas on Giant Drop its nowhere to be found. Even though Giant Drop is built onto the side of a launched rollercoaster, it doesn't offer any visceral effects to the experience. Despite it's size Giant Drop is practically forceless.

The standing floorless tilting 1 is just out of this world. I knew it was coming (the tilt) but it still scared me shitless.

Favourite stationary ride, by far.

But GD's size and plainess does emphisize its hight. But defo HC

was on it last year. pretty cool but short and not worth waiting to go on more than once. Too people afraid to go on it, it's not half as scary as it looks. Maybe if your afriad of heights, ok. I was expecting it to drop with no warning but it wasn't as sudden as I feared. Surprisingly smooth.
