It does not. I've played Hot Pursuit and took it back to gamestop after 2 days to trade it to try Blur and Blur wipes this off the map for me. Hot Pursuit has graphics over this, that is it. Gameplay is what keeps players playing the same games over and over again and Blur has the better gameplay. Plus you can play split-screen up to 4 players on one console as opposed to HP, where you cannot, only over LIVE.

The problem is that some stupid people download the game for the pc, then obviously they cannot use the multiplayer. So they judge the game on the single player campaign. It's like playing Unreal Tournament in single. Makes no sense.

Fuck!!! The single player mode is only a practice to the real deal.

In Destruction mode you can practice aiming, in Checkpoint mode you can learn the tracks so you can bring your skills to the multiplayer matches.

You didn't play this, so you wouldn't know, but this game uses perks, just like Call of Duty. It also has challenges, just like Call of Duty and leveling like Call of Duty. You should research before you speak.

Just because Blur has 'perks' doesn't mean they're anything like MW2's... there are a shit ton of games that have a perk system incorporated into them, so why would this game's perks be compared to an FPS? Well if you're going to look at it like that, it doesn't have shells from Mario Kart or the same physics as Project Gotham. The title was supposed to be describing how it works like a mix of all those games. The perks system IS very similar, they unlock as you level up just like in Modern Warfare. Lastly, u mad? I mean, fuck, I recommend that you research a bit before you call the title stupid and you explode. Chill out.

woooo. tried this game. it is ridiculous fun and best of all you dont have to be a pro racing driver to play. The game is obviously going for an arcade style opposed to the realistic simulator like NFS and GT series, and would be silly to be comparing it to those two franchises. For what the game is, its 5 stars on a fun level. Thats gotta count for something.

@alfredofs1 Well, Blur has is aesthetically pleasing besides the fact that at any moment you could have a seizure hahaha. And despite what everyone says, it is quite hard to predict when Power Plays will be triggered in Split/Second. It's very random.
