anyway i have a slight problem, wondering if anyone could help me. i bought a new bass drum skin, fixed it on, and a couple of weeks later it snapped while i was playing, beater went straight through it :S. i use the plastic side of the beater, i wonder if thats the problem, or is it just a dodgy skin, can anyone help? :(
yeah i measured the bass drum, its just a shitty starter one so it was 20" i think, so it was the right size, must of been i dodgy skin :S, i still havent changed it yet, i just taped it up =/
i can play this it took me a while to do the get hold of the change of beat which keeps happening when it all kicks in for the start. rest of it is really nice to play along to..

Sounds like a dodgy skin. Bass drum skins are designed to last a beating!
Are you sure you put the right skin on the right side of the bass drum?
If you did, then it's just a dodgy skin.
