I saw this performance (if you could call it that) up close and personal in Dharamsala and god was it embarassing!! She wouldn't stop dancing and then the clothes coming off it made no sense and was ridculous!!
@tenzintopten@ if you Tibetan think that it is 21century and want to change, then why you are criticizing Chinese government for their attempts to change Tibet and Tibetans. Tibet has changed so much for better ways since from 1959. But point is those changes able to keep Tibetan cultures and identities alive?.

I think the reason why they dance to Indian songs is because there a lot of refugees there, especially in Dharamshala, so they know about the culture. Correct me if I'm wrong.
now iam doing a do it song with tibetan singer michael and i have done lots of stage shows after the miss tibet,its my hobby to dance and singing, so soon ill put some videos on youtube of some dance with my fans

well, first i kinda envied her for her encourage and she danced pretty good, but then she started dancing like she is at a disco or something...thats embarassing. blah
this is a talent show....so its time to show wht u got! dere is nothing like embarrassment. moreover its a competition! and as 10zin1959 says we live in India, so acting like them is nothing!!!! Tibetan has never grown stronger in any fields, i think its bcoz, we never apprecaite those few out of million, who dares to come forward. we as a tibetan should support them, in the sense must cheer up as we do to bollywood actors- SRK, Salman k, Kareena n etc...

Nothing embarrasing as you guys think.... i was there when this took place...they also dance our own culture dance and sing.... crowd doesnt like it......... when she starting dancing indian song everybody start enjoying.... you can hear backround cheer up... v leave in india v drink there water so act like them tooo get used to it... you morronnnnnnnnn

Tibetan in India knows Tibetan culture & others because we live in a free world.
Dancing really good indian item doesn't mean she is not keeping her culture.
As I went through the comments she said she has some Tibetan video with Tibetan song & wearing chupa.
I think she did good job there.
