Did you know, before the State of Israel ever existed, we practically offered the island of Mindanao to the Jews? Of course, they declined the incredible offer.
I hope my country the Philippines will always have an open door for Israel for what happened in the past is nothing to what is prophesied in the futue that the world will come against Israel. So my fellow Filipinos let us not just open the door for them but let us also go out to support them and stand by them for God will surely remember and fulfill His promises to them as written in the Bible. Friends are supposed to be friends through thick and thin...no matter what happens. If one backs out....especially when trouble comes...there's no friendship at all. I am very proud to be a Filipino...my dear brothers and sisters... I am very proud to be a citizen of a country which opened its doors to the fleeing jews during the time when most countries were reluctant to give shelter to them or simply afraid to get the ire of the then powerful but ruthless regime of the German nazis.
