YOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO WHATS GOING ON? Since I have a project studio in my house and mic'n an amp takes up much time and space... Instead of buying an ENGL i'mgoing to get this. Same price, much better for my needs.
@pobinr what is the difference between a bugera and a two rock? ...
The KPA has an incredible quality, not only emulations but FX too... And you can "store" the sound of your actual amp!! If you have a rig, and you love the sound, you can clone it with the KPA, or if you had recorded a song with a concrete amp+mic setup in the studio, you can clone that rig with the kpa...
Line 6 is a toy compared with the KPA. I also played the Axe FX ultra. Search for my amps in my vids ;)
@Kevinkoch2443 Dude, they are two different devices. This profiles existing amp sounds. The AxeFx is already full of hundreds of perfect tones from amp, cab and mic combinations.
great! :) what mics and mic pres did you use? when more mix, how do you connect it to Kemper? you have to sum-mix the signals? thanks for the reply :)
The preamps ... let me remember... maybe API, but I'm not sure.
All mixed and sent back to the mic input of the kpa to profile.
What you are listening is the real amp sound trough the kpa, and the kpa sound.
I did more comparisons between direct amp sound to monitors vs kpa sound to monitors and some mulititrack recording for each mic, and an extra track for later reamping.
Hi, this was at a professional studio we have access ;)
We were trying to get the sound of a Peavey 5150... and trying to understand how works the KPA profiling process... In this video you can see the profiled sound without refining the profile (which is mandatory)... And it's pretty close tho the real one... After refining, you can't tell the difference. The kpa is the best piece of gear I've ever bought :)
With playing this bad it doesn't matter what you use!

I like how he starts playing "Sweet Child O' Mine" but stops after realizing it's not cool anymore.

@sunguraja it seems to me that he is flabbergasted that he cannot notice any difference

@perothing
We can notice the difference in sound, but what we were talking about in the video was about the feel of the amp... It really felt like the real one.
After doing the "refininf process" of sound, you can't tell the difference between the real one and the kpa.

I cant tell the difference.

@lilmrdr This is because I didn't refined the profile :_(
