Hey, Thanks for the compliments. Its a good old fashion chip device. There are 2 cd4089 chips that provide the sequencer portion. The clock speed is controlled by a tl064. The bass drum sound is created using a Bridged T capacitor setup along with the spare op amps from the tl064. The overdrive is a modified headphone amp circuit using an LM358. A lot of the basic circuit structure I modeled after some of Eric Archer's Space Rockers drum machines. His stuff is pretty amazing.
