  • Oh this makes me cry. I didn't realise I was so affected by the film!

  • Fantastic! thank you

  • Incredible.

  • I can't think of a mediocre Morricone score, period.

  • @compalena Totally agree he makes these scores which your bound to get an effect on

  • Saw Days of Heaven a few days ago, this score is so hauntingly beautiful, as is Morricone's score for Once Upon a Time in America, which I just love listening to.

  • I am haunted by this soundtrack. Thanks for putting it up.

  • omg...beautiful

  • the sunsets in the film definitely look like Canadian Sunsets(where Days of Heaven was shot at, in Toronto) not so much a Southwest Texas Sunset...BUT IT'S STILL BEAUTIFUL!!!

  • @filmfanman65

I always remember a Canadian lady saying on BBC Radio many years ago that the praries of Canada are the place "where your shadow meets tomorrow"...

  • Nah, it's a pretty great movie.

I prefer some of Malick's other films, though.

  • This beautiful score {and DO listen to the other selections posted by pangpangLuckyLuke} ~ it brought ENNIO MORRICONE (at last!) the first of his Oscar nominations...

... but also his first disappointment, losing out to Giorgio Moroder's 'Midnight Express'. Moroder did a few more films, whereas Morricone would go on to perform at the United Nations

  • This is one of the most haunting themes Morricone ever composed. I can't listen to it without getting chills. Gorgeous.

  • @watcherfilmsinc Well its highly based off of a classical piece

  • Which version is on the Benjamin Button trailer?

  • The music that plays in the Benjamin Button trailer is "Aquarium" by Camille Saint-Saens, one of the movements from "Carnival of the Animals." It's the music that plays in the opening credits of "Days of Heaven" and which most of the score of the film is constructed as variations on that one theme, probably the most ingenious thing Morricone has done arguably. You can listen to the original song on youtube, just type in "Camille Saint-Saens Aquarium." :)

  • Thanks a lot, mate.

  • This is great!absolutely fantastic. Ever since I saw the movie for the first time almost ten years ago (Im 28), the soundtrack has been haunting me ever since. I just can´t understand how it´s possible making such beautiful music..Well, thank you very much for putting it up whoever you are:)..

  • Thanks very much for putting these up!
