  • Love these guys and their songs..but this has always been one of my favorites..Its something how this old classic rock is still going strong....My son now listens to the same music I grew up on!!

  • I have this Original album. 3 other guys and I lived in an old farmhouse and our rent was we had to work 1 saturday a month for the rent. That was in the early 70's. Sometimes, the word got out that a party was going on and I have seen close to 100 people show up. 99 Hippies and the occasional narc (we trhreatened to bury him in the garden. Great times, I'm 65 now and would love to relive those days. Any Hey, Bill Clinton, I damn sure did inhale!

  • tompetty832002 - I LOVE this album - can you post "It Probly Always Will" by the boys??? Pretty Please!!

  • I am as southern as any but I am not sure anyone who would be called a "raghead" would learn anything but hate from people who think like that from the bumper of a Ford. But thanks for perpetuating the stereotype that all people from the SOUTH are backwoods country fucks.

Enjoy your next KKK/Tea Party Rally without me.

  • if only a raghead could go to a keg a party and do a few shots on the bumper of an older ford

  • colindominy..I'm with you.

  • I do miss these times. I also see the times a changing. If you are not a brilliant business man or a Phd or MD your life will suck. I will be curious to see how the guys from "Freakonomics" describe this new era.

  • i'm an old kentucky boy. we do stop and smell life from time to time. don't always smell like roses, but it always smells like grandchildren around here. and that is a smell one can't duplicate. i fall in love every day

  • Love OMD they bring back a realization that life is so simple and for enjoying.

  • Nothing extremely difficult musically, but just plain good ole boys doin' the best they can to tell it like it IS is not WAS was! So: tompetty832002 thanks for the upload, You Tube thanks for clearing some space for the O.M. Daredevils, and yes folks what we have here is an anthem for the "laid back" in each and every one of us! So Shine on brightly!

  • Beautiful song I grew up in the Ozarks transplant from California. I am back in Californian now for many years. I sure makes me miss those Hills. Once you have spent some time in the Ozarks it always stays in your heart. Truly Gods Country. I am always ready to slow it down a bit. I am off for some blues tonight down by the beach. Peace to all my friends. If you found this song you know what I am talking about.

  • is this tom petty?

  • this was one of their encores. they did two or three. what a beautiful way to end a great show.

  • im just a good ol' boy, thats learned to wait.

  • Moma said, you only live till your dead....you got to give and give and give. ........

Make time matter as your looking for the Son, by giving and giving and giving. Awesome song.

  • This song taught me a lot about patience!

  • remember the Ozark Music Festival in 1974 Sedaila Mo? when music and Rock Festivals were Cool! every day it was over 100 degrees but the Music and the women were even Hotter!

  • Annie Green Springs was O.K., but I was more of a Boones Farm man myself. Back in the day.

  • Which one of the guys in the above picture sang "Jackie Blu"? Was it the guy on the far right end?

  • Yeehaa. LOL haven't heard this album or song for years. Forgot how good it is !! hahaha. And I"m a 70's and 80's rocker !!

  • I want this song to be sung.....when everyone's a partyin' and spreadin' my ashes upon the finley river...

  • apart from the fact that these guys were as good and better in some cases than the eagles (road to glory) this song could have been written in the west coast of Ireland, listen to it....its a drinking song

  • Great fidelity, thanks for the fantastic post! Lots of beauty and wisdom. Hail to the Ozarks and its Daredevils? Now they just need to play at Devil's Elbow! Hee, hee.

  • geweldig, net via bolcom een dubbelcd met o.a. dit nummer besteld, machtig mooi

  • you olny live till you'r dead^^

  • I love the ozark mountain daredevils!

    Great song

  • yes I think it was..The bass player lives in my hometown

  • Yet another great hallmark song by the boys. For me, this tune & its lyrics teaches me to make & take the time, in these contemporary over-hectic, over-busy, suffocating, bedlam-ridden, chaotic days in which we live, to S-L-O-W D-O-W-N, to relax, to take it a little easier. Let time & the natural order of things take its due course. Once again, as in so many OMD songs, there is a strong spritual presence & a contact with Mother Earth & Nature, embodied within this beautiful piece. Thanks !!

  • Ahem to that. I always listen to this song, when I need to come back to earth, and it's real meaning.

  • Or, as an old Irish man once told me:

" Sure we don't have a word for the Spanish concept of Manana in the Irish gaelic language"

    "Why"? I asked

    "Sounds too urgent" he said

  • Was This the album with the china plate on the cover??????????????

  • Yes, ourpat1.

  • 1st song i learned on guitar - good stuff - thanks for uploading

  • every time i hear this i am satisfied all day

  • this so is the best i think! =)

  • I second the thanks for the upload-boys from Missouri...coming from New York, grad school in Mizzou, reminds me of being educated in pig roasts with a little grain alcohol punch on the side, singing this arm in arm as the coal embers burned away...

  • Sounds like my dad and his buddies in the late 70's and how they use to hang out!

  • My absolute favourite Ozarks song!

Thank you so much for uploading this.
