  • I've got a beagle and this video brought me to tears! I'd hate the thought of this ever happening to my dog, this just shows the loving nature of these creatures, despite being locked up for their entire life as soon as someone offers them their hand they don't bite it off like a human would, they lick it because they're such kind animals, thank you to the people that did this!

  • Can Someone please tell me who sings this song and what is the name of it???

  • I don't really get the parts where the dogs are being described by what I assume is supposed to be their personalities and hopes and dreams. They are dogs. If they hope for anything, it isn't to be adopted by a kind owner. It is to be included in a hierarchical, structured pack, and live an easy life with abundant food.

  • music ruins the whole video

  • Amazing

  • They're now "free" living under the iron fist of their human masters.

  • @TheDeckinator These dogs would be dead within the first year or two without the care of loving humans like the ones in this video. They give them vaccinations, attention, education (on how to do things a dog should learn how to do). We take them in because we love them, not because we enslave them

  • there are plenty of sub human scum rotting in prison, use them for research.

  • @JRLOC488 Amen!!

  • There ain't never any excuses to experiment on living beings for the sake of industiral human health. One has to understand that ones life is never more imporant than all life combined on this planet. We are all (and I mean all shapes, sizes and forms of life) one big family on this planet. Its about damn time that industrial humans stop this destructive path that they are currently on!

  • Did anyone else cry when they saw thiis?

  • [insert comment about animal rights here]

  • Aww, this is beautiful <3

  • Dam there are children in this world being abused just as bad ... And we worry about

Cats and dogs ... Wow some priorities humm

  • @louisrkellerjr what makes us any different

  • @louisrkellerjr I'm very happy God didn't make me bitter and cruel like you.

  • Awesome, great to see people that are making a difference.

  • lol my beagle is never that calm, lol

  • this is truly amazing, you guys do an incredible job, keep up all your hard work <3

  • How many of these dogs have been adopted? If any of them are still available, you should say so in your description and where they are located. That might help them find good homes...

  • NINE CHINESE RETARDS VOTED DISLIKE!!!

  • I Love you guys for doing this! Especially that there Jill Ryther there! This is Teej.

  • DAT ASS.

  • Addie and trixie were born on my birthday 9/29

  • Not enough doggy time in the videos!

  • Humans are animals

  • Instead of using animals, they should use humans that are list to death :D

So if the chemicals are toxic either way the prisoner/bad guy dies

  • @RupturedTaco ...so retarded...

  • Zucchini smells Like chocolate

    My name is squidward

  • That is soooo cool what these guys r doin. I never knew dogs were used for testing. I did get teary eyed because they are free now.

  • Testing should be done to people if its necessary. They could get paid a bunch to test on themselves yeah?

  • I dont agree with Mryoto123. Dog or any animals should not be tested. How would you feel if you were tested

  • I know this is a great video, but why insult the scientists? Without animal testing a lot of us and our families would die from simple diseases. But doing it for make up and hairspray is just stupid.

  • Beautiful video! :')

  • Fucking scientists your all a bunch of fags

  • @xXwonderwalfleXx

Don't like scientists eh? Don't stand around then. Man up and take a stand then.

First off, stop using your computer which was designed by scientists. You tube sucks anyway. Sell your scientifically designed car and start walking everywhere. Definitely throw your cellphone in the trash. Then stop using deodorant created in a laboratory. Don't worry, the opposite sex will love you for your righteous anger against the evils created by scientists.

  • @reddwarfposse Well said.

  • @donayre21 at the beginning

  • I don't like the music

  • @donayre21 Don't care for the Beatles?

  • @potatochipXL you've obviously never seen an actual farm in country land, your total ignorance to the subject is appalling. Free roam chickens and well kept cattle support a healthy farm land. Vegan is by no mean incorrect, as it is a lifestyle choice, but to say there is no other way but Vegan is absurd.

  • if you aren't vegan, you're no better than the fucking scientists who did this.

  • @potatochipXL why vegan and not vegetarian??

  • @erinl400 eggs come from chickens who never see the sun and can't move and very abused. milk comes from cows that have to be impregnated to produce milk, and their babies are sold off to veal slaughterhouses. you're not doing any good at all if you're not full-on vegan.

  • @stuff6720 As I said, everything works differently for everybody, Chemo kills, organs reject, etc. Modern medicine kills more people than the illnesses themselves, and same for the ignorant coats prescribing them.

  • @Liss783 people who do that shall die

  • Anyof these dogs need a home?

  • @CustomDomination No. Despite the video, if they had actually been used in medical testing, they wouldn't have been released (They would have been destroyed, as per law). This video is pure propaganda using breeder dogs held in cages to make adoption more profitable. These people are profiteers, not animal lovers.

  • can the comments just stop for 5 seconds and appreciate what beaglefreedomproject is doing.

Great video, thank you...dang onions :P

  • I just rescued my 2nd beagle, Lexi, a former lab beagle. We've had her about 5 months old. She didnt even know what a treat was. She has come a long way and is starting to act like a real dog. Shes finally getting the housebreaking thing. Looking to add beagle #3 shortly. These lab beagles are just so eager to please and mine wont stop wagging her tail.!

  • 7 people are heartless idiots.

  • As much as I hate the Westboro Baptist Church's radical stances, I'd have to agree with them on this little one: thank God for Hell.

  • this will be my job when im older, making a difference in someone or somethings life

  • Sad and happy hope they all get adopted

  • I like the video; but YouTube, why is a video with two women mooning the camera being advertised with videos about dogs being rescued?

  • I have seen many videos people undercover in Labs filming animals being tortured having their nails pulled off, thrown into walls, kicked, stomped on, having bleach splashed into their cages while the animal is still in it, soaked with water, screamed at. Anyone that says that is ok there is seriously something wrong with you. No animal should have to be put through this day by day before they eventually die.

  • I agree with a lot of comments on here saying that animal testing is cruel. I think it is horrible that they are locked in small cages, grabbed and thrown around, burnt and countless other things that happen to them. These animals are rarely seen by vets and usually die in pain.

  • All I can say is 'Hell Yeah!'

  • VERY MOVING VIDEO..WHO ARE THE 6 ASSHOLES THAT CAN POSSIBLY 'DISLIKE' SOMETHING AS HEART-WARMING AS THIS?! ONLY THING I CAN THINK OF THAT POSSIBLY COULD MAKE SENSE ARE, 6 GREYHOUNDS DISLIKE THIS VIDEO!

  • @ZubudMan i agree people who dislike this what is wrong with you!

  • That is so sad that testing is done on these defenseless puppy's when so much could be done via simulation & on criminals.

  • 3:43 Red Rocket standing by

  • i don't understand why we don't grow animals without brains, it's not like we can't do it.

  • @techno.......In medical school we had dog labs - I went to one and refused to go back again. No I wouldn't sleep well at all, lying to myself that experiments on dogs will help fellow humans. It is cruel and unnecessary.

  • @shibadoc You couldn't even actually click 'reply' to me could you? Otherwise I would have seen this from my inbox instead of randomly finding it from my casual use of Youtube. How noble. I hope you failed your medical school. You apparently don't care about humans. I, and my wife, do not lie to ourselves. That's your issue and I hope you've found some way of coping.

We DO sleep well. If that make you uneasy, then I suggest YOU tell children that they have to die.

  • All the ethics discussions aside this is still a heartwarming video.

  • I don't care what anybody says, testing something on animals that's being used for humans does nothing. EVERYBODY reacts to EVERYTHING DIFFERENTLY. What helps one person hurts another, so there's no need for testing. Just because they don't have a voice doesn't mean you can take them and use them for crap like this. People react to different things for reasons, nature always restores itself, if one thing doesn't kill us off something else will, don't torture animals to act like you're "helping".

  • @oORochelleOo right, so antibiotics, blood transfusions, dialysis, organ transplantation, vaccinations, chemotherapy, bypass surgery, joint replacement, and methods for prevention, treatment, cure and control of disease, etc, etc, etc, do not apply to humans?

Next time one of your loved ones (including pets) need medication or a medical procedure. Remember it could not have been made possible without animal testing.

  • "If a being is sentient, and thus capable of suffering, it must receive the same “moral consideration” as any other regardless of race, sex, intelligence, creed, or-and this is the key point- species"- Steve Kolter, A Small Furry Prayer

  • @amylorrainestephens We don't even afford the same right within our own species, let alone extending them to others! It's quite shameful!

  • First, when you put the dogs in their cages on the grass, you spent precious time talking to the camera and saying stupid things like, "should I do it?...should I let them out?" (something like that), and secondly, you should have opened the cages as quickly as possible, knowing that they wouldn't jump out right away. You left them sitting in their cage even longer. Third mistake was in making the video, not enough time to read all of each dog or to get an address. Great effort though.

  • @Lightningron17 are you kidding me? on the grass, they said "this is going to be the first time letting these dogs out in the sun/on the grass, it's very exciting." they weren't saying "stupid things" like 'should i let them out? omg?!'...plus, that was about 6-10 seconds out of what, 3 years these dogs have spent in a metal crate? wtf are you talking about opening the cages as quickly as possible? you don't want to scare them. and it's called pressing pause if you want to read about the dogs.

  • this is soooo sweet

  • why the sad music? this a happy video

  • They some kewl niggas

  • dogs aside.... why try to demonize researchers for testing on animals?

If anyone is not a vegetarian... you have ZERO right to criticize.

Even though we have many sources of protein, why would you think it is OK for an animal to die so you can eat a burger, but not to cure cancer....

animal research saves many human AND animal lives. We owe most of modern medicine to animal research.

  • @stuff6720

thats the isse i see. Why to test on animals, who are mostly innocent beings, when we have prisons full of criminals and horrible scum, who does not deserve to be treated like humans.

Screw the morality, screw the nonsense, human rights should not be applied to those who didnt respect it in the first place.......experiment on humam garbage instead

  • @drobekAgangrel Yeah, who cares about those horrible prisoners, they don't deserve anything. Hey, I have a great idea: why not open special new camps where they can be experimented on and worked to starvation, and then throw them into gas chambers? I hear there's a really excellent company called IG Farben that needs fresh bodies.

  • @guigal2

    actually,a good idea

    why not?

  • @drobekAgangrel I do agree with that. But aside from being illegal, it would really not help science.

We need CONTROLLED studies with the only variable that is changes is the one of interest. 'Human garbage' is too heterogeneous to draw any relevant scientific conclusion. That is why animals (unfortunately) must be used to advance biomedical research.

  • @stuff6720 They spray hairspray and put shampoo in their eyes. When did they say anything about cancer?

  • @stuff6720 Careful...you're making sense. That's something that isn't welcomed here.

  • @stuff6720 This is false, geez people, read more information on both sides before saying animal testing is a must, look up this video and tell me then if you think animal testing is something that must be done to help us humans. The video is called "Animal Testing - Good Science? Or Pointless Cruelty? Part 1" or "Bad medicine 1/5 - The human cost of animal experiments" Like this comment so that all the ones that support animal testing have the evidence here why is isn't good!!!!

  • @stuff6720 it's a question of how much freedom they have before that point in time,

  • I cried like a baby watching this!!!!!

  • I cried like a goddamn baby. So glad to hear those dogs are in better places, now.

  • this is so sad

  • What is the first song on here? It's not here comes the sun.....Love these babies, how cute they are and I hope they are in there forever homes and being spoiled with love

  • @barbarat611 Fleetwood Mac - Songbird

  • @TamaraTwilight13 huge THANK you....had to download this on itunes right away!!

  • This is gut wrenching but thank you for posting it. The ONLY way to stop animal cruelty is with your money.. don't buy unless it's cruelty-free. Hurt the 1% the only way they understand.. profits. There are phone apps out there to help you find safe products.. couldn't be easier and your conscience is clear. Check out PETA, uncaged and leapingbunny. Also soapnuts are brilliant for all cleaning products not to mention cheap! Please buy cruelty-free ONLY.. it CAN make a difference. : )

  • Why not use convicted serial killers and sexual predators for medical research instead!?!? Instead of innocent animals... This is madness.

  • @hermanessences well, for starters, it is called the constitution.

Following that logic, we should only test on dogs that kill squirrels?

Regardless, experimentation relies on CONTROL. Litter-mate animals raised in similar conditions are most often used. Only by keeping EVERYTHING constant except the variable of interest are we able to infer scientific conclusions.

There is too much variability even among human siblings. We cannot pool together all psychopaths as our new sample pool...

  • @stuff6720 You are totally right! Squirrels have a right to live without being chased and killed senselessly by dogs. Anyway it seems that whenever it's a dog involved people always start preaching about animal rights, but only a small percentage of those people will say the same when it comes to rats and mice (the majority of lab animals). I feel that anybody who has called an exterminator to get rid of their mouse/rat problem (or dislike rats) should get off their high horse.

  • @krumelguineapig In some aspects, I agree. However, I would never think it is a great idea to get a horse ``high`` under any circumstance.....

Nonetheless, you sound like a very intelligent individual and clearly have all the positive elements of both rats and sea otters.

  • @hermanessences Ya, F$%k the US constitution and it whole Eighth Amendment BS...

  • @Loathomar Yes, fuck it. If an old piece of paper promotes injustice, then fuck it. This is a very good reason why you shouldn't follow any code religiously.

  • Maybe we should let dogs be in charge for a while. I think this country would be better off. Have not seen a "dog occupy" anything but the couch!

  • 1 Person Hasn't Got A Heart...

  • This is absolutely fucking adorable.

  • Those mutts are so innocent the first one, ralph as i call him was so scared but once he stepped out he was all smiles, very exciting

  • Are you all buying your products NOT TESTED ON ANIMALS??? If not YOU TOO are guilty of the cruelty behind these dogs.

  • I'm so glad these animals have taken steps toward finding a forever home after contributing so much to the advancement of human and animal health and I'm confident when I say my research mice get the best care possible.

Against animal research? You should sign an Advance Animal Directive stating your wish not to receive any treatment which has been developed because of animal reserch. You can find the document by Google searching "Advance Animal Directive".

  • Look at the song information under the like/dislike bar. 'Here Comes the Sun", Artist: Beat Less. (facepalm)

  • I'm bipolar, and have to take a cocktail of medicines. Now I hate myself for having to, and the drug companies for coming up with stuff that I am chemically dependent on. There must be a better way, like homeopathic or behavioral modification. My dream is to go into rehab once my daughter goes to college, because (1) I'd be gone so long and (2) it won't be pretty.

  • Could have done without the tunes. lol

  • you are amazing guys, and what you do is amazing!

  • NO WAY !!!

    2011 !!! RESEARCH WHIT A DOG???????????????

    ABSOLUTE IDIOT IDEA !!

To the responsibles....which was his idea? please explain !

I have more ideas, just for you....

Really, I´m working in the animal behavior.

    My email dominguezsantiago@gmail.com

  • After their first few ours of freedom..... back to the cage XD

  • LOOK AT THEIR 2yr OLD EYES.. HUMANITY NEED TO BREAK THIS PATTERN OF ABUSE!

  • Congratulations ARME, more power to you.

  • Always Buy Cruelty Free,

Those Products Are Always Stated As Such

  • This made me so very happy. It brought tears to my eyes. For them to find a life, makes my heart soar.....

  • Stop with the negative comments. Enjoy the freedom, love and care these dogs now enjoy.

  • bless the rescuers. you have done a good thing

  • music in this video is really f**** annoying. but pups are cute.

  • Wow. This really puts things in perspective. Poor babies... I will NEVER buy products tested on animals. Glad these babies have a home now.

  • wonderfulllllll !

    Coooooooooool story, tell it again.

  • God bless you ARME. My heart goes out to those beagles.

  • test labs suck AND the people who work there!! How can these workers/techs sleep at night knowing this is what the end product is?????

  • @doxzens4ever Probably because the end product saves countless lives. The researchers aren't the greedy ones. It's the suits. Believe it or not, researchers are people who more often than not also end up adopting the animals themselves (if health standards permit it). At least that's how it is at my wifes lab. She sleeps rather well, knowing that her work has, and potentially will, help innumerable fellow human beings. If you hate it so much, don't use medicine.

  • @TechnomancerMorhion It's not about the researchers, they might be nice people too, as your wife probably is - despite the fact that they are misusing living animals to research on. It's about the question, how come MAN cage and misuse a living being.. Making them sick with the purpose to find what? Endless and forever healthy life? There is no such thing. It is WRONG... There is no greater good in that.

  • @TechnomancerMorhion How many damn animals must suffer for it? if we didnt destroy the world we would have it so much better,,, fuck medicine for humans, give medicine to earth...

  • @Killah184 o____O

  • @TechnomancerMorhion ......and potentially not help a damn thing...just torturing the animals is all they accomplish

  • @iowarailroader Do you honestly believe that? That torture is the only thing that happens? I'm personally against inhumane treatment. I value *life*, in all its wondrous and meriad forms. Does that shock you? Or does pointing fingers on Youtube at the people that makes your existence *possible* feel good to you? Does it make you feel big? Well, child, you've no idea what we do that makes your entire existence possible.

  • @TechnomancerMorhion If testing on animals is the ONLY way, then why are there other organizations that do NOT test on animals?? You're making excuses. It may be the suits, but without the researchers, they wouldn't have an industry.

  • @TechnomancerMorhion TM why dont u tell your wife to undergo those experiments herself. Im sure she'l end up saving a lot of people too. I would really appreciate if you would then talk about "end products" and "saving lives" theory.

  • @himzbud I'm sure she would, if allowed. It'd be nice if people like yourself however didn't use the 'end products' that your ilk bitch about. Maybe then my wife could get on with her work without hypocrits like you biting her ankles.

  • @TechnomancerMorhion First off, stop harassing everyone's opinions on here. I can't believe you have seriously took the time to argue with everyone. As far as information that you need, go look up user SealAngel on youtube and watch the video called "Animal Testing - Good Science? Or Pointless Cruelty? Part 1" or user Veganius a 5 part video series called "Bad Medicine" Once you have come back and rattle off to me then. I can't post links to videos here either you idiot.

  • @TechnomancerMorhion you my friend are a true idiot

  • @gmapfighter That saves your life.

  • @TechnomancerMorhion, that's good advice, not to use medicine. I just watched a documentary called The Beautiful Truth. It is about a women who gets cured from cancer by eating certain foods. Maybe you and your wife would be interested in watching that. Hope you are well.

  • @MrDaveyBrown I believe I know the documentary you're talking about (I'll have to check it out to be sure), but diet is not a cure all. Our diet plays an important role, but then so does genetics and our environment (something most of us have no control over).

Speaking from personal experience, I require an oxygen tank, weekly spiro treatments, and cortisone pills, and various other medications, just so I can breath. All of which are the result of animal testing.

  • @TechnomancerMorhion And they cannot be treated humanely and be allowed out in a grassy enclosure why? Sounds like BS to me, suits or no!

  • @TechnomancerMorhion First off, there is a proven fact that they do not need animals to test on. A lot of scientist have even said this. Maybe where you wife works is very rare, but there are A LOT of places where the animals are abused. Want the proof, look it up. There is countless video evidence! I do not condone animal testing what so ever, and use medicine only when it is highly needed!

  • @idliketoshootyou Indeed. We use simulations and tissue samples. Neither gives the information needed when dealing with complex organisms. Despite HuffingtonPost saying otherwise, we unfortunately still need an independent organism to observe the full results of any testing.

Btw, NEVER tell someone to look something up when you're making an argument. ALWAYS provide source material. This isn't Glenn Beck.

  • @TechnomancerMorhion There is no need to test potential medical products on Beagles. Or any other dogs for that matter. I work in the medical field & I too see the importance of developing drugs & other medical treatments to help our fellow man, but not at the expense of the life of what is meant to be 'Man's best friend'.

There are plenty of other ways to test new drugs to ensure they are safe for humans.

  • @aussiekid23 without using animal models? i m not sure what "medical field"you are in, but medical research, as by now, NEEDS animal models. there is no other way. in vitro testing - in vivo (animal models) testing - man testing. end of story.

  • @miyagides Careful...you might be burned at the stake here...

  • @aussiekid23 How much of your work is in the research area? You may work in the medical field, but so do many people who have never been in a lab. Are you a medical researcher? Are you a medical assistant? While I respect your view based on your experience, I'm sure you understand the difficulties researchers have when dealing with people who benefit from the research but don't actually know what the research entails.

  • @aussiekid23 Dude, testing on dogs is the best way forward. Would you rather a world full of overbreed's of dogs (around 2x the worlds population or more) running wild?

  • @DistincTHD Maybe we should test on you..

  • @aussiekid23 You are right. I'm a HUGE animal activist and I couldn't say that any better.

  • Those shameful testing labs should be brunt to the ground after the dogs are released and the sadistic fuckers who torture them are jemmed into their cages. Fucking bunch of lowlife unfeeling shitcunts :(

  • Was it my imagination, or could they not really walk properly when they were first let out of their cages? And goodness, did whoever that was exprimenting on them have to starve them like that! I honetly believe I must be living amongst humanoids.

  • @AngelViolet22 You... are?

  • @CCWLuter Someone who has blood pumping through my veins, and a soul shining through my eyes. A person who had tears stream down my cheeks when I saw those puppies petrified eyes for the first time. I like it when people ask what being human is.

  • @AngelViolet22 I don't think that means anything. It sounds like you're trying to be artsy but you don't know what that means.

  • @CCWLuter A person that attempts to prove that another, has no knowledge of what they are saying, should at least try and use a word that exsts in the English language. Alas, I can't say if I'm being "Artsy", or not, as there is no such word. Now as far as my cnversation with you - it is done. I don't waste my energy over ridiculus trollers.

  • @AngelViolet22 For the record, @CCWLutter wasn't asking you "Who are you?" He was trying to tell you that you ARE living with humanoids. It happens that humans fit in the category. Oh, and "artsy" is a word. It was added to the OED in September of 2004 and cited as part of the phrases artsy-craftsy and artsy-fartsy in 1902 and 1971 respectively. If the OED says it's a word, it's a word. It's basic definition is "artistic in a pretentious or showy way."

  • THESE ANIMALS ARE AS ALIVE AS US! MADE ME CRY!

  • HOW FUCKING SAD!!!! i FUCKING HATE THIS WORLD!

  • @AdoreMeMore dont hate this world,,, find out why there is so much negativity in the world, conquer any fears and rise up above it all!! checkout the film- the esoteric agenda for starters!!! remember,, all the negatives in the world can be a catalyst for change to something more positive, it's all down to whether we react to things or if we pro-react!! a real interesting piece of reading is the thread- all roads lead to rome on above top secret dot com!! we are creators!!

  • I'd like to know who had these dogs before y'all saved them? And are they already adopted out?
