  • isnt it free to go on the internet when your connected to a wifi on this phone?

  • I love my droid 2 but is there a way i coulkd get on the internet w/o payng? like getting my tether wifi

  • how much dose it cost to go on the internet

  • froyo doesn't need task killers. by using task killer you cause more harm than good (higher battery usage). You will save much more power if you switch that live wallpaper off for example

  • yo can you post the link to that case, man?

  • Yeah, android automatically puts programs to sleep. Just like you wouldn't turn off your computer while it is in sleep mode, nor should you kill apps that are sleeping. You will just waste battery and processor power booting them back up. In fact android is so smart that it will even put apps into a hibernate mode when appropriate. This means it kills them itself but in a way where you don't loose data. If you use task killer you are wasting battery!!!

  • which is a better case? this red case or the other black clip on one that you reviewed?

  • you need to watch "Droid 2 for Dummies"

  • Task killer actually messes up the phone by reducing your eligible memory better off just let android multi task when it wants cause it closes n used apps

  • @cybling Is this true for all android phones? I notice my memory seems sorta low according to ATK. I have 512 mbs, but usually only like 90 mbs free. I use a samsung captivate and I do leave a lot of apps running and refreshing and still get good battery life, but does letting android manage apps on its own help the phone?

  • @gleboff yea all phones task killer only works well for a phone like the G1 and the original Mytouch since low specs but any other phone with 600mhz or higher task killer doesn't help it just hurts
