"Drumstep" is basically dnb or is dnb whatever lol, and ive heard a ton of dope tracks from it and i think because its fairly young it will progress and take on a style of its own and might push dnb back up. but right now listening to dnb its alot of the recycled amen breaks and resse basses with very little room for new styles. dnb's life is not finished tho

@lbanks69 I think it's popularity is near pop-music status in the UK but stateside, DNB seems to be increasingly insignificant. love artificial intelligence, good call. liquid funk is my favorite DNB genre - i wish more people respected its musicality. anyway, thanks for your comment!

Interesting comment on drum and bass in this video. I don't believe that drum and bass has hit a wall...people always say that but i don't know what they're talking about. Maybe Jump Up/ UK Rave dnb has a bit, but the minimal stuff and industrial stuff is REALLY thriving.

Ever heard of Rockwell? Sinistar? Fuck, even liquid artists like Artificial Intelligence are still putting it down.

Anyway, much respect to Nero. Love them, can't wait to see them when they come to town!!
