  • God damn it! How can humans treat each other like that? It's almost worst than racism! Best movie ever made! And the most important one. My favorite. But first time i saw it, i was about dropping my chin on the floor. I had not heard about the Apartheid before. But now.. I know quite alot. Btw.. i am from Denmark. And I'm white. And not to proud of it. Fuck the KKK and fuck Racism, and final: Fuck the new world order!!!

  • i just watched this annd it is so extremely racist. buuut informing

  • Haha, I love that part from 0:17

    HEY YOU!

    IM TALKING TO YOU MANDELA

    LOOK AT ME.

Why has this guy must to play "the hard guy"?

  • fuambaelvis

Seriously what is your problem? Watching a movie about nelson mandela and now fighting about racism -.- (on internet -.-') Btw ". i Hope u are not on my home land THINKING U ARE AFRICAN , cause all you whites in are african, WILL NAVER BE AFRICANS. " sounds a little like racism or am I wrong?

  • @canadianshit212 : fuck you! it because of racist like u that my people hav suffered and r still suffering. . "thank god that ANC stopped with violence" ? Thank god ANC used violence, or else we wouldn´t be free 2day. No surprise from a Norwegian, your country is one of the must racist in the world. N i kno wat i´m talking about, been there seeing it. i Hope u are not on my home land THINKING U ARE AFRICAN , cause all you whites in are african, WILL NAVER BE AFRICANS. MUGABE had the solution

  • Anc was cruel to it's members..google "quatro angola anc"...neither is mandela the saint we r brain-washed to accept at face value!

  • great movie. Really liked how they have shown those black years in South African history

  • I saw this movie at home yesterday - a great movie.

  • afrikanners go to hell ! :P

  • hahaha wow you are just as dumb, narrow minded and uneducated as the racist whites. I am a Afrikaner and I am sick of the stereo types going both ways. You are just as narrow minded and racist as the whites in South Africa you see something on a movie and you take it as facts or you see some white guys treating black guy badly and you stereo type the whole group. Get your fact straights Nelson Mandala and the prisoners on Robyn Island were never beaten with whips.

  • Yes there were blacks beaten with whips who did not follow the law by the police but guess what whites who spoke out against apartheid were beaten too. So please lighten up. Not just whites in South Africa but foreign journalist were assaulted by police. Only uneducated and dumb people stereo type the actions of a few in a group of people as a whole.

  • The UN supported SWAPO and the ANC but guess what their soldiers raped other black woman at a huge scale. For this reason all blacks are rapers. How do you feel about that stereo type exactly it is stupid.

  • isnt this the same movie as "the color of freedom"?! amazing movie, but arent they the same?

  • it's a really fucking good movie, and the guy that made it is danish... Like me :D <3

  • I wish the guy can make the same movie about Malema.

  • which its the music from 0:51 to 1:26 i heard it in many movie trailer like che the argentine and i would like to know how its called. its very sad and heroic.

  • Great movie!

  • I am making an school prockjeck about that movie :D

  • we watched this movie in class a few weeks ago really great movie!

  • I wish they would show a movie like that in the schools of my country, too, but I come from Germany and all they deal with around here is old Nazi Germany... The outside world doesn't seem to matter to my people... Worrying!

  • heh, i'm from germany too and we just watched the movie two days ago ... =P

  • @ShinbuyaX

I'm from Denmark. We saw it my class too. Great film.

  • I watched this movie and cried cause being a south african, your gotta be greatfull that people like mandela fort the fight of making our country a land of freedom for everyone!!!

  • if you like this movie, the book is a MUST. "Goodbye Bafana: My Prisoner, My Friend"

It's written by James Gregory, the prison guard.

  • 5**********

  • i saw in our class today, and it is a really great movie.

  • @Mariexb44 yeah we are watching it at our school too

  • It really is a beautiful story, despite that it is horrible.

The film is so fantastic, and I loved every minute of it!

  • I love this film so much, and it's very important! It's so unfair how many people were treated back then in the now-RSA!

  • We also watched this with our school , it's a really good movie

  • Our class is watching this today too :D

  • Actually, our class is watching this today :)

  • A fascinating film: seeing Mandela through the eyes of a man who should be his superior, but became his friend.

  • this movie is very reviting. just watching the trailer tells how hard it was for a black man to survive in South Africa. This is the kind of movies that they should be showing in school all over the united states to teach black people of whence they come!! and maybe others will accept Barack Obama as a canidate of presidency for the United States.

  • Yeah, I agree that this should be school material. Mostly because it's not documentary, but acting, and a lot more people will be willing to watch acting rather than docmentary.

I actually saw the movie in school; in English Class, though I come from Europe, so that hardly counts.

  • thanks for posting!! wonderful and very interesting movie!
