  • To know the truth about the origin of religions madea copy paste of this title: The true history of religions 1 on the YouTube search bar

  • Christian brothers & sisters, peace be upon you, I invite you to read Noble Quran, download your PDF copy and read Chapter 19 titled "Mary" the authentic story of Jesus of History once walked the earth.

Do you know that the Bible confirms that Jesus was NOT crucified?

And confirms that Jesus was only sent to the Children of Israel and called any other believer as a "Dog eating from the Children bread!"?

Come to Islam, the religion of Jesus, Moses, Muhammad & Abraham.

    The Monotheism.

    Peace.

  • @extra222love

There nothing noble about your evil quran and its satanic lie that Christ was not crucified- scram!

  • @extra222love

First of all, I am not a scholar of the Quran, so I can not speak to your "Mary" chapter.

But I can speak on the other two assumptions you made.

    1) Where does the Bible confirm that Jesus was NOT crucified?

    Matt 27:26 - 28:6; Mark 15:14 - 16:6; Luke 23:23 - 24:20; John 19:16-41 - all the biblical accounts of the crucifixion.

Acts 2:36, 4:10; Romans 6:6; I Cor. 1:23, 2:2; Galatians 3:1; Revelations 11:8 (to name a few) - all passages referencing the crucifixion of Jesus.

  • @jamesmere

Thank you brother, Pls. don't take me trying to debunk one of the greatest ever religions exist on earth today, Christianity. In fact, we Muslims can't be Muslims without accepting the message of Jesus, Moses, Abraham and all other Children of Israel prophets.

But the main difference, is that we criticize the NT exists today between our hands to be the genuine one spoken by Jesus not in all parts but some.

Pls. allow me to start with the crucifixion event first. thanks for patience.

  • @jamesmere

The Islamic opinion about the crucifixion event as stated by Quran 4:157-158 is that they neither killed Jesus nor crucified him, but another man was made to look like Jesus. We do agree with you that somebody was crucified on that day but it wasn't him, in fact, we believe he was Judas Iscariot the traitor.

I know you would rely in your references in NT to support the Crucifixion, but let's discuss the smoking Guns in the NT which might support the Islamic point of view ... cont.

  • @jamesmere

Let's take them one point at a time:

1- The prisoner who walked free on the crucifixion day, Barabbas, isn't called "Barabbas"!

His first name was "Jesus", all Bibles didn't mention such fact except the "New English Revised Standard".

Digging deeper, you'll find even the "Barabbas" is a Greek word, pushed with the same pronunciation to the English Bible, where "Bar-ab-bas" translate to "Son of the Father"!

Ending up whom walked free was called "Jesus Son of the Father"! Pls. explain!

  • @extra222love

It is obvious that we are using two sources (both religious in nature) to prove our points of view. These sources are mutually exclusive, in other words, we will not make the Quran and the New Testament agree, it is not possible.

Now with that said, your point about Barabbas. Absolutely, his name was Jesus, and you can read the name as Son of the Father, but further exploration will show that the name Jesus was quite common in 1st century Judea ...cont.

  • @extra222love

Now, we have to take the NT account (which you are quoting by the way) (Matthew 27:15-23) that tells us that Barabbas was a known prisoner, other accounts say murderer, some scholars believe he was a zealot that tried to cause an uprising in Jerusalem. All that aside, it is likely that Pilate chose him because the name was similar and to juxtapose the well-known guilt of Barabbas and the obvious innocence of Jesus the Christ (again according to the NT account)

  • @extra222love

Now, let me get to another point! You said in your first comment that the BIBLE says that Jesus was NOT crucified. I gave you an exhaustive list of biblical references showing your statement to be false. Then you come back and quote the Quran as your proof. (no offensive) But that is intellectually dishonest.

You choose this one passage (about Barabbas) rather than actually seeing all of the different passages that I posted.

  • @extra222love

Barabbas is not a smoking gun, in fact according to the NT record is a symbol of Christ's ultimate sacrifice. In the story, HE is literally taking the place of a man who deserved death.

Also, Jesus the Christ never called himself "Son of the Father" he called himself "Son of God" this was the message posted above his head on the cross, this was the witness of the Roman guard who watched his death. This was actual crime that he was sentenced for.

  • @extra222love

One other point, you said that with the exception of the "New English Revised Standard" edition no other translation of the NT tells us the Barabbas' name was Jesus. This is false, MANY BIBLES state this exact passage as you describe... you will find it in the NIV, CEB, CEV, GNT, HCSB, LEB, MSG, NCV, NKJV, (and I'm out of time to look in all the others.) Before you make a statement like that, check your facts.

  • @extra222love

    One more thing...

It's seems to me, that you are not coming up with these arguments by yourself. You seem to have been taught them without any actual study of the NT itself. In other words, someone has told you what to say in opposition to the Christian position.

It is a good idea to read the actual source material yourself before you start using it to argue against someone else's position. I would NEVER assume to use proofs from the Quran, I am not a scholar in it!

  • @jamesmere

Thank you brother, I do really appreciate your verbosity, however, while you laid down your logical explanation of “Barabbas” account in NT, the following issues appeared to me:

  • @jamesmere

1- Jesus Christ was the one selected to be crucified instead of Barabbas under the request of the people present that day whom (in my opinion) Barabbas would give the credit for saving his life. It’s more than a good luck to Barabbas than being saved by the Christ, at least from his point of view. If the NT declared that Christ asked to be crucified instead of him would be a different story. I wonder if it would be known to us 2000 yrs later than known to Barabbas himself?

  • @extra222love

1 - I'm not sure what this point exactly means. Yes, Christ did not ask to be crucified, though he did predict it. And yes it does seem reasonable to assume that Barabbas might have seen his situation as "good luck" since it was the crowd that made the decision.

  • @jamesmere

2- NT accounts that called Barabbas a “murderer” would suggest that justice was not served that day. As its most probable the families of the victims were present to watch justice getting served by crucifying who killed their beloved ones. What we believe a favor done by Jesus to Barabbas most probably was considered a betray to justice in front of victims families! And assumes "courts in Texas" might serve justice better than Jesus himself!

  • @extra222love

2 - Of course justice was not served that day... that is actually the main tenant of the Christian faith. We do not get what we deserve. The NT tells us that "all have sinned" and "the wages of sin is death" but that "God gave Him who had no sin to be sin for us so that in Him we might become the Righteousness of God." No, justice was not served, and yes a guilty man went free and the innocent man died. That is the most powerful point of the story.

  • @jamesmere

3- So to avoid such contradiction of interests, Barabbas must be either an innocent person (the account which no NT had mentioned) or was only a political prisoner guilty in the eyes of Pilate but innocent in the eyes of God making him deserve to go free, enforcing other accounts to be false suggesting the existence of mistakes in such NT’s which jeopardizes their positions as words of God!

  • @extra222love

3 - There is no "contradiction of interests" here. The point of this story in the NT is the concept of Grace and Mercy. When one who deserves death is granted pardon and one who does not deserve life is granted it as a free gift.

It seems to me that you are applying human rationalization and justice to the Almighty God, be very careful!

  • @jamesmere

4- Barabbas being a prisoner waiting to be crucified suggests that he is in his 20’s minimum of age. If we assume he was 20 years old (minimum) at the crucifixion event, this makes Jesus 13 years older than him. And the question is: was the name “Jesus” that popular to be given to Barabbas (at his birth) when Jesus himself was 13 yrs old child? I wish if there is any evidence to prove that the name “Jesus” was so popular when Jesus himself was that young!

  • @extra222love

4 - I have no idea where you have come up with these figures on Barabbas' age. It is actually more likely that Barabbas was a peer of Jesus. Full manhood was not recognized until the age of thirty, it is likely that if Barabbas was a political leader (of a sort) than he would have to be past that milestone of an age. That would make him about the same age as Jesus. Besides, this is not true exegeses anyway, both of us are reading things into the text that are not there.

  • @jamesmere

5- Barabbas being so famous in the Christian heritage to be the one saved by the most important moment of Jesus life suggests to me that Barabbas became a famous person (at least after going free) and the Christian heritage must have mentioned something about Barabbas after walking free! Are there any more details of Barabbas “biography” beyond the crucifixion event?

  • @extra222love

5 - Sadly, no, there is no "biography" of this character beyond the crucifixion narrative in the NT. I have no idea if he became "a famous person" as you suggest. Like many "supporting characters" in the Jesus Christ narrative he is introduced, changed, and almost forgotten with out much follow-up. I wish there was more information, it would be an interesting read.

  • @jamesmere

6- I would assume that Barabbas, as a return to Jesus’ favor of saving his life, would become a sincere follower to Jesus Christ after the crucifixion event! Is there any evidence proves or denies such assumption?

  • @extra222love

7 - You would think that it would be true that Barabbas would become an ardent follower of Christ. Yet, there is no evidence either way. This does prove or disprove anything though. There are many people who are make a huge difference in the world and their name is forgotten, and there are others who have been given so much and yet remain ungrateful. It is impossible to say which one of these categories Barabbas falls into without further evidence.

  • @jamesmere

8- If the name “Jesus” was so popular to a prisoner to adopt. Is there any evidence of the title “Son of the Father” was also widely used on that era?

Pal, I’m not of that type who sticks around the same point for a long time, that’s why after you give me your opinions about the previous, I’ll address you what so called “smoking guns” in the period between Crucifixion and Resurrection.

    Thanks a lot.

  • @extra222love

8 - I can not answer this question, since the NT is silent on this issue. There are scholars who seek to discount the NT narrative espousing (exactly as you do) that Barrabas and Jesus Christ are one and same. I can not agree with this, since my world view holds the writings of the NT is higher regard than the writings of Maacoby and Urrutia. In reality we all have a bias towards our own worldview mine the Christian worldview and you the Islam.

  • @jamesmere

1- When did the crucifixion take place?

One gospel: About the 3rd hour.

Other gospels: After the 6th hour.

2- What are Jesus’ last words?

    One gospel: “It’s finished”

Another gospel: “Into your hands I command my spirit”

I can't imagine two persons among the witnesses would argue on Jesus' last words! ... if "It's finished" was his the last word then "Into your hands I command my spirit" was the one before the last word, and it's inaccurate to call it his last word!

  • @extra222love

1 - Where are you getting those times? First of all the scriptures don't tell us when the crucifixion took place, only when Jesus died.

Matt 27:45 - darkness from 6th hour to 9th hour - then He dies

Mark 15:33 - darkness from 6th hour to 9th hour - then He dies

Luke 23:44 - darkness from 6th hour to 9th hour - then He dies

John - is silent about the hours

Please explain your question? Have you read the gospels?

  • @extra222love

2 - Why can't you imagine two persons remembering the last words differently?

Luke is told probably from Peter's perspective (who was not at the cross) and John was an actual eye witness. What difference does it make, really?

Luke 23:46 - "Father into Thy hands I commit my spirit" (quoting Psalm 31:5)

John 19:30 - "It is finished"

Matthew 27:50, Mark 15:37 - He uttered a loud cry

  • @jamesmere

3- Who went with Jesus to the tomb?

Matthew: Mary Magdalene and the other Mary.

Mark: Mary Magdalene, Mary, Mother of James & Salome!

Luke: The women who had come with him from Galilee.

John: The women who had come with him from Galilee and Mary Magdalene.

In comparison, 1.5 Billion Muslim would tell you who were around prophet Muhammad in his death bed without a single discrepancy!

I just can't imagine such confusion in Jesus' case!

  • @extra222love -

3 - I see no contradiction in the accounts of those who came to the tomb. Matthew, Mark and Luke all use descriptions that can be synonymous. By the way, John never mentions this at all in his gospel! Have you actually read any of this?

I would make a comparison with death of the prophet Muhammad, there is just one problem... Muhammad is still dead and in his grave. Why does it matter who came to the tomb of Jesus since He isn't there?

  • @jamesmere

4- Why did they go to the tomb? Matthew: to see the tomb. Mark: They brought spices that they might come and anoint him! Luke: They brought spices. John: NO REASON GIVEN!

5- Was there an earth quake? Matthew: Yes! Mark, Luke & John: NO MENTION!

6- Did an angel descend? Matthew: Yes. Mark, Luke & John: NO MENTION!

7- Who rolled back that stone? Matthew: The angel. Mark, Luke & John: NO MENTION!

  • @extra222love

4 - It was Jewish custom to anoint the body with spices. Christ died on the eve of the sabbath and there was no time. So the women came early after the sabbath (the third day by Jewish reckoning). There is your reason, what's your point?

5 - Actually Mark and Luke make a quick mention of an earthquake like event.

    Matt 27:51-56 = Mark 15:38-41 = Luke 23:45b - 49

So the answer to your question 3 out of 4 accounts say yes.

  • @extra222love

6 - You are referring to Matt 28:2-4 - which is an explanation that Matthew was giving to the Jews to discount the believe that Christ's body had been stolen. He made mention of this being very important to him, the other gospels were not written for this purpose.

7 - Yes Matthew says the angel the other gospels are silent, big deal? So what?

  • @jamesmere

8- Who was at the tomb? Matthew: An angel. Mark: A young man. Luke: Two men. John: Two Angels.

Now if we would accept that it could be mixed between man and angel ... but it's very hard to mix between ONE and TWO numbers!

  • @extra222love

8 - Again, what's the difference? The message was the same from the angel or angels whether there was one or two.

  • @jamesmere

Now, this part is really crawling under my skin!

    9- Where were they?

Matthew: The angel was sitting on the stone outside the tomb.

Mark: The young man was in the tomb sitting on the right side.

Luke: The two men were inside the tomb standing beside him.

John: The two angels had set one at the head the other at the feet where the body of Jesus had been laid.

If we would assume for the sake of argument that each gospel did tell a part of the story, then each gospel isn't complete!

  • @extra222love

9 - Matthew never says where the angel is

Mark does say the angel is inside

Luke only says the angels appeared (no mention of where)

    John says they are inside

Where is the problem here? For all we know all of these accounts could have happened inside the tomb according to the gospels.

Why does this "crawl" under your skin?

  • @jamesmere

10- By whom and where Jesus was first seen after the resurrection?

Matthew: Mary Magdalene and the other Mary on the road to till the disciples.

Mark: Mary Magdalene ONLY on the road to till the disciples.

Luke: Two disciples on the road to a village about 7 miles from Jerusalem.

John: Mary Magdalene outside the tomb!

Not only who "FIRST" saw him were different but "where" also!

  • @extra222love

10 - You are misunderstanding the purpose of the gospels here.

Most of the gospels where written in response to one another, referencing one another.

These different accounts do not negate the others accounts of the resurrection.

  • @jamesmere

In fact, no one would miss the unequal importance of the event with the way it was told in the gospels!

Moreover, I wonder if there is any evidence that Romans did officially document the event as it took place under their political rule involving a VIP like Jesus! ... and if it did, what were their accounts in all steps?

    Thanks.

  • @extra222love

You are also misunderstanding the significance here. Jesus in life was a complete failure as a leader. He never traveled more than a 100 miles from home. He died without a friend and without a penny to his name. He was no "VIP" he was some young upstart in a backwoods region in the armpit of the Roman empire. No records exist because it didn't matter. Crucifixions were a daily occurrence and the death of Jesus was no more significant to the Romans than the other two men...

  • @extra222love

killed at his side. That fact that we know the name of Jesus Christ today screams out the testimony of the resurrection. If He is not risen, why would anybody care, at least that is the Christian position.

  • @extra222love

NOW - I have gone to great lengths to answer everyone one of your questions, to point out places in scripture and address your concerns. Yet you have yet to answer a single one of my questions. Why is this?

I await your response to my statements.

  • @jamesmere

7- If we repeat Pilate’s options given to the public then we would have: Jesus, Son of the Father VS Jesus, The Messiah. The title “Son of God” even hanged on the cross but was not used by Pilate during his offer to the people. According to the comparison between “Son of Father” VS “ Messiah”, In my opinion “Son of Father” would express Jesus Christ more than what “Messiah” does! As many before Jesus were titled "Messiah's".

Who owned the title "Son of the Father" before the Christ?

  • @extra222love

7 - Again there is a distinction to made between these two phrases, "Son of the Father" and "Son of God". Christ is never called, "Son of the Father" he is called over and over again (and calls himself) "Messiah, the Son of God". Most telling is the passage Matthew 26:63 in which the two terms are used interchangeably. Why would "Son of the Father" express Jesus Christ better? The very term "Christ" is the greek word for Messiah.

  • @extra222love

    2) Your story of Jesus "sent to the Children of Israel" and calling others a "dog eating from the Children bread" is taken from Matthew 15:21-28 where a Canaanite woman comes to Jesus seeking the healer of her sick daughter. Christ tests her faith with his statement about giving bread meant for children to the dogs. She comes back and says that even dogs get the crumbs. Christ is moved and in verse 28 grants the healing of her daughter. That is the true story.

  • @extra222love

It is intellectually dishonest to use this story as proof that Christianity is not "the religion of Jesus". The argument itself makes little sense. If anything, this story shows Jesus' compassion. Others would have seen this woman as an "infidel" (if you will) while Christ saw her humanity and faith and granted her request and healed her daughter. That's the type of savior I want to follow.

  • jesus si good

  • You are quite right. Sorry for being so agressive. I guess it is the intent that matters.

    Peace.

  • There were many false Messiahs wandering around Judea in thosae days. It was customary to round them up, try them, and if found guilty of Blasphemy or other high crimes, executed. This is why even your fantasy Bible includes the story of the two Jesus: Jesus of Nazareth and Jesus Bar Abbas. The croud demanded the release of their "Jesus Bar Abbas" and "Bar Abbas" is Persian for "Of The Father". This is a typical story based on common events of that time.

Every good Bible scholar knows it.

  • @Avalon400 Of course that is true. There were many false Messiahs and there still are, but you still seem to be contradicting yourself. Is this Jesus of the New Testament just a composite figure of fantasy or (as your latest post presents) another one of the false messiahs rounded up, tried, and crucified? I'm trying to make you see that you are not being intellectually honest in your statements. Jesus can't be both a myth and a con-man at the same time. Every good debater knows it.

  • @jamesmere

Hmm...good thought, on both of parts.

"It is safer to look for proof rather than truth.

It is easier to deny His existence, so I am not accountable.

It is more enjoyable to mock your love, than to live in it.

It is common to change your true reflection, to fullfill our own desires.

Jesus they (historical religious leaders) wanted you dead when you said you were God- when you said you came to save us, when we condemned our selves already"

  • @Avalon400 Also, the purpose of this video is not to proselytize, it is meant to inspire. It challenges those who call themselves Christians, who claim to follow the servant King, to action; to heal the sick, feed the hungry, clothe the naked, care for the needy, shepherd the lost, that is the purpose. I'm not here to argue the finer points of theology with you or anyone else. I think there are far more important things to do. So peace to you.

  • Jesus is a composit fantasy figure, just like the Budda. And since there is no such thing as "Demons" or "Devils" any act of "excorsizm" is nothing more than a useless religous ritual. The composit figure "Jesus" is clearly a symbolic lawbreaker who was judged by HIS OWN people, based on the laws and traditions of the prevailing culture of the time. Modern Christians are clearly comforted by this legend. This is religion and the act of a lazy mind.

  • @Avalon400 I'm a little confused here. First you say, "The real Jesus of Nazareth was a delusionary criminal" and now you say, "Jesus is a composite fantasy figure." Which is it? Are you saying that Jesus is a fantasy criminal? It seems to me that you are simply repeating anti-christian statements that you have heard, some from other religions (Judaism) and some from Atheism or Rationalism. You then present both to be true although they are mutually exclusive. That my friend is lazy.

  • The real Jesus of Nazareth was a delusionary criminal; accused and lawfully tried as an heretic and blasphemer who violated the Temples as a false Rabi and false Messiah. He was prosecuted for making threats at Jewish authorities, practicing exhorsisms on the Sabath, contradicting "Holy Scripture"; denying the "prophecies" and, worst of all, making himself "Equal to God" a blasphemous claim! Is this the criminal you follow ? ? ? There is only ONE Hebrew god: Yehova

  • @Avalon400 JESUS IS GOD, HE IS THE REAL MESSIAH SENT TO SAVE US OF OUR SINS, I THINK UR A DELUSIONARY, IF GOD GAVE U THE POWER, U WOULD BE ABLE TO SAY JESUS IS LORD!!!

  • @Avalon400 That is certainly one of the options that you can believe about Jesus. He could have been a lair, he could have been a raving lunatic, or he could be who he said he was. You admit that he performed exorcisms (on the Sabbath) that means that his words had power. How does a lair or a madman cast out demons, make the lame walk, blind see, or dead live? He fulfilled 60 Old Testament prophecies and he showed that "equality with God" meant being a servant. That is who I follow.

  • Say God is One God Samad begets not and was not fun art

  • Great video!

  • Oh lord I have fallen so far from you I say. I miss the genuine love you provide each day. How could I live like this, sin everyday, hurting and, not repenting I tell myself why ? I sometimes just stare at the ocean and break down and cry. I know heaven not an easy road to get to.there's.pain and struggles, and friends who lie. I make promises year to year, that some day I will fight this battle and show no fear. please heal me, and don't turn away. my clock is ticking enter my heart today

  • @jakeinsf And it sickens to see that's what you think the purpose of Christ's suffering was and that's why the video was made and why people watch it. Jesus died to save us and just because we want to worship and to get an idea of what he did for us doesn't mean we "get off to it."

  • kind of sick the people who get off on people suffering...

  • @jakeinsf who is "getting off" on people's suffering? This video is meant to show that Christ cared for the suffering of others. Pretending it's not there and turning a blind eye because you don't like the suffering of other people is not going to make that suffering go away.

  • @Majic490 Thats the beauty and mystery of having faith.

  • @Sarge7458 Faith is the great cop-out, the great excuse to evade the need to think and evaluate evidence. Faith is belief in spite of, even perhaps because of, the lack of evidence.

  • Think of how many religions attempt to validate themselves with prophecy. Think of how many people rely on these prophecies, however vague, however unfulfilled, to support or prop up their beliefs. Yet has there ever been a religion with the prophetic accuracy and reliability of science?

  • @jamesmere Anytime and thanks to you as well, and continued blessings to you too my friend.

  • @jamesmere You have a good point and I agree with what you say. However I think that you have an amazing video and thread here and don't want to see people bother you and spam the board up.

  • @Sarge7458 Thank you Sarge! I appreciate your support. I've tried to monitor the comments on this thread as best as I can. I censor and block people when they are disrespectful or obscene, but I don't censor anyone based on their beliefs or disagreement with me. Anyway, God bless you!

  • @Majic490 If you don't believe that's fine, but don't try to insult me m, other believers or our God. Why do you bother to watch religious videos when you don't even believe in Jesus?

  • @Sarge7458 Don't worry about it Sarge. People like Majic490 are just trying to get a reaction. Why else would they come on to a video like this, make a posting like they did earlier and then come back looking to see if someone wanted to argue? It's obvious that Majic is looking for attention. Why give it?

  • @Sarge7458 Whenever people are certain they understand our peculiar situation here on this planet, it is because they have accepted a religious Faith or a secular Ideology (Ideologies are the modern form of Faiths) and just stopped thinking.

  • @saltycreefer Your being prayed for my friend.

  • For ages, a deadly conflict has been waged between a few brave men and women of thought and genius upon the one side, and the great ignorant religious mass on the other. This is the war between Science and Faith. The few have appealed to reason, to honor, to law, to freedom, to the known, and to happiness here in this world. The many have appealed to prejudice, to fear, to miracle, to slavery, to the unknown, and to misery hereafter. The few have said "Think" The many have said "Believe!"

  • Jesus, I chose the wrong path!!! I was possessed by a demon!! I had a realization of you 2 years ago then fell back on a promise to go to church!! I ended up getting into the occult new age stuff and it ruined my life!! Now demons attack me every day! I pray you come and destroy these demons!! I pray for your help my dear friend!! I love you!! Help me to heal my wounds!!!

  • @mcdinkity So sending his only son down to earth and him suffering on the cross and dying for us and our sins isn't proof enough?

  • religion is pathetic if this god wants us to worship him why dosnt he just show us some proof

  • Wow, this is such a great song! This is the first time I have heard it, but I love it! Thanks for sharing it! God bless!

  • Jesus is a prophet but not God and I love him .. And I love my God"allah" who sent him to the people .. And I love the Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) .. because Jesus told us about the last Prophet "Mohammed" before he comes, and I am a Muslim because Islam is the last of all the great religions

  • Apollonius was better.

  • wow... i'v sinned myself but its just unspeakable of how much he did for us.

just think of having ur hands and feet NAILED to wood and stay there for some time now.

  • Muhammad says that God deceived faithful followers by making it "look like" Jesus died on the cross. Muhammad does not recognize God's name as "Yahweh" (I AM). Muhammad waged war and said that a married woman, if a slave, can be taken by another man (Adultry). This is not a complete way of life. This is a sad destruction of God's word.

  • The picture of the starving little boy at 1:51 made me cry.

  • Jesus can be found anywhere. (But)He stays away from (the) proud, arrogant, hateful, religious, selfish, cold-hearted...many (of) which can be found in many "churches". Jesus is near to the broken...the broken-hearted..

  • If you dont believe in jesus.. why even take the time to comment? Hmmm why fight against a nonexistent force? tell me what compels you to comment...

  • Yes, he would accept them. But he would not allow them to remain in their sin. "Repent and Believe" is his message (Mark 2:17). He told the woman caught in adultery to "Go and Sin no more" (John 8:11). We must turn from sin. That's what 'repentance' means, that's what 'believing' means. Read the Gospels.

  • I agree with you, but your tone is so adversarial. I have read the gospels, have you read the epistles?

"The Lord's bond-servant must not be quarrelsome, but be kind to all, able to teach, patient when wronged, with gentleness correcting those who are in opposition, if perhaps God may grant them repentance leading to the knowledge of the truth, and they may come to their senses and escape from the snare of the devil, having been held captive by him to do his will."

    2 Timothy 2:24-26

  • the true jesus wouldnt be accepted in churches...because he would accepted gay people....THINK ABOUT IT...he WOULD...you know it and I know it

  • I agree with you, givemefire45, Jesus loved all people and he had a special place for the cast out, those that the religious people of his day looked down upon. That's the Jesus that I serve and I want to be like.

  • @jamesmere ...lotta christians could learn from you....:)

  • @givemefire45 you are absolutley right cause everyone falls short

  • I dont think there is anything wrong with a good debate. In fact it may even be a good witness to someone.

Christians are awesome!! Especially those taught to defend their faith!

When christians talk to non-christians about the bible ..its out of love for them. If we didn't love them we would just give them over to their sin.

    Peace!!!

  • We need God .

  • 3:40..."...my Jesus would never be accepted in my church." Wow, so true,so horribly true.

  • Why does it seem that comments on these religious videos always seem filled with hate and conflict between persons proclaiming to represent religions of peace, tolerance, and love? If you truely believe Jesus and Mohammad taught you love and tolerance, then show that here.

  • I understand your comment. But I ask you to read and reflect on where the comments of hate and conflict come from. There are those who truly love Jesus and have shown it many times right here.

  • Yes, i certainly agree with your point, and being Christian my views are naturally somewhat one sided.I do not agree with the views of Islam nor of those who are athesist or agnostics, but yet i still feel they have the right to their views.I have become drawn into many arguements where I felt I needed to defend my Lord and found it only tended to drag out the fight. Some post only to start fights.

  • I agree with you... and share your thoughts and concerns.

  • You guys relax. Hate is not the point. TRUTH is revealed to whom seeks it. Seek the Truth and THEN talk

  • How can you call an entire race of people, dirty creatures then in the same breath use the word peace?

How can you justify this contradiction?

When will we realize that all life is sacred, that all people are created in God's image, and in the words of the prophet Jeremiah, there will be no peace until we deal with our relationship with God.

  • ok so wat if ppl marry young? • Again, to an American who remembers vividly the events of 9-11 and the tapes of Bin Laden, to hear someone say that "islam will dominate" is extremely scary. I'm sorry but it's true.

And I'm not interested in religion... and I'm not out to argue or prove myself right. I don't need to, I don't want to.

I have studied both, I have read both, and I still choose Jesus. Thank you for your comments.

    End of story.

  • "islam will dominate"

    that is a scary statement

Christianity isn't out to dominate anyone.

    Peace to you

  • 41.53 Soon will We show them our Signs in the (furthest) regions (of the earth), and in their own souls, until it becomes clear to them that this is the Truth. Is it not enough that thy Lord doth witness all things?

Look over youtube U can finde countless signs about Allah written on things.

  • I appreciate your views and I respect your religion, but there is a major difference between Christianity and Muslim belief that can not be reconciled.

Muslims believe that by obedience and submission that they can gain God's forgiveness.

Christians say that there is nothing, NOTHING we can do to earn our salvation.

To overcome our fallen human nature and reach the divine is like trying to jump the moon our your own power. No amount of good deeds will ever be enough.

    (cont.)

  • That's why Christ came. While we were lost in our sin and could not reach God, God came to us.

That is the message of Christianity.

Please read the scriptures I have mentioned earlier.

    Peace to you.

  • Say: 'O People of the Book, come to common terms as between us and you: that we worship none but God; that we associate not aught with Him; and do not some of us take others as Lords, apart from God. And if they turn their backs, say: 'Bear witness that we are Muslims. (3:64) As a Islamic duty I have to Invite U to Islam brother

  • Quran teaches that God is both just and Merciful. But since He created humankind and knows its weaknesses, He does not require bloodshed to forgive. One who sincerely repents and inculcated a relationship of love for god, and obedience and submission to Him. Can be assured of Gods loving forgiveness.

  • There is no difference between Muslims and Christians on the imperfection of human nature, the necessity for atonement, the pursuit of salvation and the primacy of Gods grace and forgiving qualities. The difference, however, relates to the way of seeking forgiveness and strength to overcome sin. The

  • On the contrary, there are numerous clear and direct texts in which Jesus denies equality with God or possessing any of Gods divine attributes (see for example John 8: 28-29, 14: 10, 24. 28. 31. Mk. 13: 32, 10: 18). In a serious matter like belief in God, an implicit evidence or an allegorical statement is far from adequate. or is it reasonable to claim that Jesus kept that serious matter as a guarded secret and hence caused confusion to multitudes for centuries.

  • John 8:28-29 - a reference to the relationship of the trinity.

John 14:10 - This verse works more for Christ's divinity. "I am IN the FATHER" that sounds like equality in the language.

    John 14:24 - Trinity reference

    John 14:28 - Trinity reference

    John 14:31 - Trinity reference

Mark 13:32 - I have already covered this (read my comments before you comment)

Mark 10:18 - This is an absolute mention of Christ's divinity, not discounting it.

Have you actually read these passages?

  • Christ did not keep it a guarded secret. He died for this reason! That was the crime the pharisees stated, blasphemy!

The confusion lies with those who refuse to read the scriptures for what they say, but only what they want them to say.

  • 1 Where, specifically, in the Gospel does Jesus (PBUH!) mention the Trinity?

2.Why does Jesus (PBUH!) in the Lord's prayer address the Lord as "Father" and then refer to the Father's children throughout as "Us" and "We," instead of separating himself from the rest of the children of God, as the Trinity would seem to demand?

    3. How could Jesus (PBUH!) possibly have omitted to mention something of such extraordinary importance?

  • 1) The bible does not mention the word Trinity, but yet Christ himself said to baptize new believers "in the name of the Father, the Son, and the Holy Spirit..." Matthew 28:19. Three in One, the doctrine is also echoed in the rest of the New Testament.

    2) Christ came to bring us into the family. He became the firstborn of a new creation, through His sacrifice we can become Children of God (John 1:12-13)

    3) Jesus did mention it, I referenced it earlier, please read.

  • That sounds so i illogical

How come Christians take the "God's Son" title literally with Jesus and they don't take it literally for the rest of the prophets and people who were called the Sons of God?

  • This question is not logical. The beliefs of Christianity and Islam are mutually exclusive, they can not both be true. Therefore, not everyone who says they are a "Son of God" can be
