F.E.A.R. has some magnificent gunplay. But it is exactly that, which pretty much kills any attempt for horror in my opinion. How am I supposed to feal threatened when I am a human with Matrix-like reaction skills and armed to the teeth? The fact that the majority of "scary" events is totally scripted and most the time turns out to be just spooky eye candy doesn't help either.

F.E.A.R. is a great game ...... but certainly not for it's horror. At least not for me.
